No English subtitle. Summary contents of this video: 1, Chinese see Vietnam and India, the two countries that are hostile to China, as same level of competitors. No true. Vietnam is a tactical adversary for China. India is a strategical adversary. India not only owns population and territory scales, also has ambition to replace China in all manufacturing sectors. Vietnam doesn't have that ambition.

2, China must make cautious calculation for every investment to India. Should avoid promoting India's infrastructures and manufactures that can replace Chinese products.

The author is right. China should not invest to India, except assembly factories.

Chinese in their brains believe China is doing a favour by investing pittance in India and that India can't do anything without Chinese investment.

Fact- Chinese companies investing in India get nice ROI. Chinese companies are standing in queue to invest in India. & India has umpteen times made it clear, albeit indirectly that we can do without investments from China.

And you can get the textual format of the video from the source, here

That is why China should avoid making mistake US made----profit oriented strategy. Which is very short sighted. China was very friendly to US when American companies entered China. It would be utterly stupid for China to invest to a hostile country like India

The Chinese govt is neither stupid nor greedy.
Under the control of the Chinese govt, Indians have no chance.

Most Chinese firms that have invested in India have got great returns. Biggest example is China's largest smart phone maker Xiaomi where are more than half of it's global revenue comes from India alone. If it wasn't for current geopolitical tensions we would have seen more of Chinese companies lining up for investing in India. Anyways if Chinese companies don't invest India it's only their loss as it's not like we are under some sanctions and no other countries are willing to invest here it's quite the opposite.

Xiaomi's financial asset was seized by India government. LOL
I am sure Xiaomi burst into tears.

Chinese investment in India is very different from US investment in China. The latter is responsible for transfer of tech, production lines, whole supply chains and building overall capabilities of Chinese companies, unlike the former which is mostly into tech and assembly of mobile phones etc.
Chinese investment brings nothing much of value to India.
However, a similar push by US into India like it did to China will bring a drastic change.
So you should not worry much about Chinese investment, but about US(& west's) investment in India.

blame Pakistan for its wasted potentials, now Bangladesh seems to become China's favorite alternative to India/Vietnam

China probably is the only country that can really help India. China owns low class and middle class manufacturing industries. Which matches India present development stage. China is also the only country that has massive infrastructure construction ability.
