NLCA completes integration and test firing of R73 missile and now is in the last leg of pre monsoon tests and trials .

After this the much awaited arrestor hook trials will be conducted. The prototypes have been regularly carrying out ski jumps from 200 metres with variable pay loads and now the development team is planning to push the aircrafts to its limits .

Arrester is yet to be fixed on bird. So don't expect it overnight. ( as per other article )
I know, I read it, but plans are afoot, and given how the Naval bureaucracy is so much slicker the IAF, looking good for the Tejas. :smokin:

I don't think you have an idea about Bureuctacy.
Navy is Uniform & angency is scientist.
No burocrate involved.
What they lack is a private management guru

What they lack is a private management guru
they've certainly far out-performed the other two forces when it comes to indigenous production and induction of systems, and even though that might be to do with the fact that fighter ships are easier to build than planes, they still deserve some kudos for it.

The IAF/DRDO will only benefit with the Navy's input and style of working, no need for management gurus.
