Video Gamers report in!

.
Better than any western I ever seen.

Since a long time ago my man, have you heard of Live a Live or Planescape: Torment, old *ss games....

Nowadays, I think video game stories are better than Hollywood.
Better than a lot of crap on TV/Silver Screen I would say.

Well, I haven't game in any serious time since College and the last time I game is playing Gran Turismo on PS3 (Well, not counting the time I play Call of Duty WW2 on a Gamer vs Vet event) I missed a lot on gaming...I mean, I don't supposed game now have story arc that a lot more well define than most TV show.

I have picked back up some gaming on my computer lately because I've got nothing to do since COVID took my job. I just finished Red Dead Redemption 2 like in a month of gaming, I am thinking of go back to casual gaming when I have time.

In fact, I literally just paid the deposit for a PS5 from a local game store. Picking it up on Nov 3......

Dualsense Edge!
OMG, the best controller just got more features. The replaceable sticks are revolutionary.

Can't wait to get this baby next year, hope it has more colors like Red or Black.

meh, KB/M 4 lyf \m/

. . .
KB/M is good for certain genres/games, but until they make vibration module for KB/M, you are missing out THAT FEELING.
I go KB/m in 99% of the situations, platformers are way better with controllers though, I'll concede.

flight and racing sims require their own controllers to truly 'get it' or get into it

Action adventure, RPG and even SRPG go better with controllers.
I think most japanese games (save for eroge/hentai games on PC) go with controller as well.

I guess, all down to to how comfortable one is with whatever controller type.

but for me, FPS suck with controllers, platformers are waay less fun on KB/M, and sims are absolute rubbish unless you have a wheel of a stick and throttle and pedals.

Yes FPS for KB/M.

Now third person shooters tho, controller.

After a bunch of years of silence, Silent Hill is coming back, I was bigger on Resident Evil than SH, but some new titles look interesting:
SH2 remake for PS5 and PC - made by western devs, look kinda ugly.

SH: Townhall, only a teaser so far, but the red tide looks like another horror series, Forbidden Siren:

And the most interesting looking one, SH f, made by taiwanese devs and written by Ryu7, the legend behind Higurashi, Umineko.
Finally, Silent Hill comes to japanese setting!

. .
Waiting on new ACE combat... everything else is just meh....
I got so many different games that I'm hyped for that I don't know which I should play first.
- Wo Long
- Wild Hearts
- RE4make
- Elden Rang's datamined new DLC
- the rumored new Armored Core
- now Silent Hill F

And my existing backlog.
