if money isn't an issue, you can go for a 7970 gpu. it would be a good match for the 8350.
cases are a personal choice, whatever works for you. good luck and have fun with it.
if you plan on liquid cooling, corsair H100 would be a good fit for the 8350.

no personal experience. although i recall you mentioned buying AMD memory, which should give free access to the AMD software package enabling RAMDisk usage. I'm not sure if it is a full license or a trial.

Given that you mentioned gaming as the primary use for the PC, I figure it would at best speed up load times etc. Games are not quite disk IO heavy.

Do let us know your experience though, it is always good to hear about them
