On my Gaming PC:
1) BattleTech
2) Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pokemon UltraMoon
.
So, I'm doing a mid level rig build.. here's what I've zeroed in on so far:
CPU : R7 7700x
MoBo : Asus TUF B650m
GPU : RX 7800 xt 16 GB
Ram : 32 GB (16 x 2) 6000Mhz
Storage : NVMe M.2 for boot drive
Cooling : random Corsair/NZXT AIO of some sort (240/280/360mm .. depending on the chasis)
case, psu, additional storage drives TBD
reasonably balanced ? not OTT mad expensive, nor "cheaping out" on stuff either.. I think.
thoughts ?
if its for gaming its perfect but if its for productivity or video editing i would go with nvida gpu
I hardly game these days, every once in a while mood lagta hai to fire something up but nothing hardcore. Apart from that a very teeny tiny bit of editing some drone and mobile camera gimbal vids for fun.. not pro anything, don't mind waiting 15 instead of 3 minutes for whatever image rendering or video work.
Main thing is, ki next 3 - 4 saal it gives me good basic gaming without worrying about if it'll run it. Display is also a 1440 so don't really need insane hardware for pushing 4k res frames at a good rate.
Beautiful <3 .. not sure if my vendor will have it even, but more than that.. going for a regular ATX build with lotsa RGB and sleeved cables etc.. bit of gamer bling on the desk.
I do plan on putting one together for my folks but.. next one will be micro or mini atx for sure, all performance, compact, quiet.
Its alive ! :taz:
Still a work in progress, need to train the cables some, and a few connectors need to be moved around.. The front USB 3 cable just below the 24 pin can be hidden/routed better.
What say you gentlemen ? 🤓
make sure you get a good branded PSU like Seasonic, Corsair etc.. dont buy a no-brand snap-crackle-pop PSU . otherwise - looks good.
Samsung make excellent NVM'es ..
800watt 80+ gold
Not going to be tinkering with it too much at all, it is slightly overkill for my needs as is.. I'm good with a solid'ish 60fps and reasonably pretty settings for the most part. Honestly can't tell the difference between mid and ultra 99.99% of the times.. that shit is just sillyness.
Future-proofing, to the extent possible, is where you begin saving monies.. So its kind of like a car/bike.. lambi race ka ghorda type.
grabbed Starfield and finished it (via Xbox Gamepass). I have mixed reviews about the game, it became too repetitive and boring towards the end.
Space (Skyrim + Fallout) = Starfield
Bethesda studios, everyone knew what it'd be but there is a market for people who love grinding and can ignore all the glitches, bad voice acting etc
