"Today the major duties of the elite of the Islamic Ummah is to provide help to the Palestinian nation and the besieged people, to sympathize and provide assistance to the nation of Kashmir, " to support the Muslim population "against aggression". This is the message sent by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran's supreme religious leader, on the occasion of the Haj pilgrimage.

Indian activists and religious leaders have criticized this message as a possible incitement to fundamentalism.

Iran has been in the game long enough to know a state propaganda when it sees one .

Indian showing their love towards Iran must read this before endorsing Iran and I hope they will pressurize their Govt to comply with Mr. Khomeni's demands.

Look how everywhere in the world where there is a Muslim community, they receive a much harsher treatment compared with others. Kashmir is a contemporary example for this. Muslims there speak out their rights. Anyone who is informed of what Kashmir has gone through, knows what Muslims of Kashmir express is nothing but truth and justice. Those who silence them have an unjust cause. Those who attack them are the ones who are doing the wrong action. Sadly the world watches all this in cold blood.

~Ayatollah Khamenei, May 25, 1990

For the Islamic Republic of Iran, the issue of Kashmir is an issue of humanity and Islam since the Muslim people of this region are clearly subject to oppression and tyranny and we have always expressed to the government of India our abhorance towards what is being done to the Muslim people of Kashmir and we will continue to express the same feelings in various circles.

~Ayatollah Khamenei, September 11, 1994

We hope that the issue of Kashmir will also be solved in the best way which guarantees the rights and interests of the people living in this region so that they will be provided with peace and comfort.

~Ayatollah Khamenei, April 12, 2001

I get it repeating our mistakes make you all feel better about how you never attempted something.
Well its a shame you think we enjoy deaths of innocent people due to your slackness.

We have come a long way since then, we are the 7th largest operators of Nuclear reactors in the world and we have done so safely.
Ya we know about that

As far as Nord Stream is concerned its not going through an open ocean but parallel to gulf of finland and baltic sea...you cant compare Baltic sea with the midst of Indian ocean.Im not an expert but theres a reason why the feasibility is taking time. In short an area infested by somali pirates and rivals like US/Iran /India/Pakistan and soon China really hurts the life of such a project since it passes the international waters, probably the reason Iran isnt very proactive on this project. I dont think its a good idea to steal this thread. If you want to discuss this further bump some old thread or start a new one..cheers..

last time 1 of 3 neighbour break your country in 1971, what did you do after that??

We ignited the Khalistan and Kashmir insurgency. Helped kill an Indian PM. Watched as Indian civilians tore apart their neighbours on the streets in response. :disagree: Benazir toned the two insurgencies down in the '90s.

.
You did give the green signal to Arabs... but seems as a result of a small mistake in the process, they ended up making a small Syria example out of Pakistan. Did something went wrong in the process? Guess who is fighting terrorists inside their soil on a daily basis? Iran or Pakistan? You know the answer.
If we have given the green signal to Arabs than we won't give you rigi brothers and information about other group..

we are fighting with the Proxies of Indian funded and your are giving your soil to Indian to destabilize Pakistan..

.
I doubt its anything more than the usual rhetoric. Iran and some ME states would never like Gwadar to flourish. I seriously cant believe that Yadhav operated from Iran without the consent of the Iranians.

Iranians mullahs are master of playing double games..We gave them rigi in return they gave cover to Uzair baloch!

Not really, we would have eventually lost anyways, how in God's name could we continue to supply troops all the way in Bangladesh? It wasn't possible. Also, India and Bangladesh still suffered higher casualties.

Not to mention that was 40 years ago, and only 1/4 wars. We won the other 3.

How are you planning to do it smart man?t.

Gain quick air superiority (not too tough with our more advanced, better trained and larger Air Force), then bomb Iran a fair number of times, use our troops to gain small amounts of territory in Iranian Baluchistan (but we won't go too deep because we saw how that went for Iraq) and then we can let the Arabs and NATO do the rest. Simple really.

I don't think you enjoy it, that is just sociopathic no one is that bad.
I do think it nurses some people's inferiority complex though.

Anyone comparing themselves to the mistakes of others' past has nothing to show for in the present.

Again your point is moot.

Nuclear power plants are sensitive areas and such events are not uncommon all over the world. Specially among countries that have developed power plants. You missed my point in all your bias, that is we are much better than we were in the last century and it is only going to improve.

I did.

2016 Nuclear Security Index is whole another story, India has fared better than pakistan.

A more recognized survey over some unknown think tank anyday.

As far as Nord Stream is concerned its not going through an open ocean but parallel to gulf of finland and baltic sea...you cant compare Baltic sea with the midst of Indian ocean.

And why is that?
The underwater features that Nord Stream traverses are as difficult if not more than the one in the Arabian sea. Apart from the ecologically sensitive Flora and fauna, the faults, unstable slopes resulting in slumps or slides, mudflows / mass gravity flows, earthquake or wave induced liquefaction in the shore approach area, mud volcanoes , gas-expulsion features and not to mention the underwater mines if present, though most were destroyed. These make Nord Stream one of the most challenging if not the most challenging pipeline in the world compared to the proposed India-Oman-Iran pipeline. Any mistake and it'll f*** up like 10 different countries in that region.
As for middle of the oceans, Langeled pipeline(almost 1200km) among others are mid sea pipelines.

Janaab, feasibility studies are done.
Iran and India are on the precipice of signing the pipeline deal.

Iran is cooperating with our intelligence services, they appreciate the gravity of this situation and its consequences for both countries which not only share a border, common threats and almost a dozen bilateral agreements and memberships of multinational groups. RAW poses a grave national security threat to Iran as its support for insurgents in Balochistan is going to extend into Iranian Balochistan too. That said the Iranians so far say that they didn't know about the RAW cell operating in Chahbahar, which can be true given the elaborate nature of cover Indian Govt was willing to pay for to maintain.

ISI has also alerted them with information pertaining to a pending rescue operation to be conducted by this individual in Indian embassy in Tehran whom the ISI has dually identified as RAW station chief. He's trying to mop up the RAW network in Chahbahar so no further damage will come to Iranian trust of India. Chinese Intelligence is very much involved in this too, they are very keen on the outcome of this investigation.

I am amazed pakistanies come up with strange logics ,since Iranian president came to Pakistan first that makes Iranians attaching more importance to Pakistan than others, yes they do want better relations with Pakistan and that's the case with every other nation. now apply the same logic with Chinese president and Pm they came to every country in sub continent before the president came to pakistan .

regarding economy Iran will be doing better than Pakistan ,unders years of sanctions they built their part of pipeline and Pakistan has not. not since the sanction are gone you don't have that excuse as well.

first let's take baby steps then we can think of running
we dont really care son that if we have friendly neighbors or not per say. We can defend ourselves.
The only WOT and poor leadership put us back in economics before that under mushy we reached 8% growth rate around 2005 or 2007. That same 8% that even u reached after us.

Plus if u look our country resources wise its in the top 5. Some of the largest reserves of natural resources r found in our country, be it Gold, coal, oil, salt etc since we actually share our borders with middle east. And the very fact that because of poor leadership no one has bothered extracting them out for decades n decades.

We really r a self sufficient country who isnt per say dependent on its neighbors. Plus not only that we r a 8th largest country too in the planet that means a strong consumer market of 200 million. While that iran is only 80 million.

Yes Iran has potential and will grow economically. But if u think that they can anyway compete with us or steal our share in the economical or market pie then yr dead wrong.

Above all we r also 7th largest armed forces backed by nuclear arsenal which according to americans will be 3rd largest in a decade. So even if all of these Iran n Afghanistan remain hostile then their collective strength isnt a match for our forces n fire power. Remember our forces n fire power is make by keeping in view indian firepower n numbers. Therefore where we r today is something they may only be in next 2 decades in case of iran atleast for afghanstan well i see a proper taliban takeover in next 5 years.

So if above all is true then why are we pursuing good relations with iran or afghanistan? Its actually because we r competing with u over there for influence. According to our threat assessment yr the only country which is an enemy. And that threat from u can only be delt with is if we completely annihilate u this time.

So we dont really care about these weak countries in our west if they remain friend or foe, the only concern is regional influence of our enemy in our backyard.
