Use Old Missiles Against Pirates!!!

Why not PN make use of old missiles which are in the inventory of PN like Chinese, French and American missiles against illegal fishermen and pirates present in the Arabian sea. As this is the only right use of the money being spent. Also, PN has already bought many new missiles from China and may be looking to buy more from EU side too. So, we don't need these old weapons any more.

Even PN should call upon EU-NATO and to supply them with old Anti Ship Missiles and Torpedoes which they can use to take down pirates by means of P-3C in the Arabian Sea and in the Indian Ocean as well. Though NATO and GCC should arrange a certain budget for PN to operate in Indian Ocean and take down those targets.

I was going to make a cynical comment about negotiating for contracts instead, but Norway does have a surplus of older Penguin missiles that are being phased out:

They are being replaced by the NSM and JSM:

Penguin might be available, I doubt JSM is though (it's costly), but it's a good missile (it's competing against the LRASM in the Offensive Anti-Surface Warfare (OASuW)/Increment 2.).

However, why not just use your VBSS? Anti-ship missile are a bit excessive in my opinion.

Because Norway only has two P-3Ns and we're still using them.

We don't have spares to give.
