Use of NASR and retaliation by India (if Any)

When both India and Pakistan talk about Nuclear exchange, warheads, Nasr, Prahaar, and so many varied topics .. suddenly I feel folks of both sides have either done
  1. Pop the magic blue pill which gives a massive boost to the mojo
  2. Tried herbal shilajit to get the same vigour and ever lasting abilities
  3. Or tried grandma secret recipes to get blood flow and feel a hot iron feeling.

It's s if the newly acquired assets are ripping out of your pants and all wish to showcase if the ruler can measure it or the asset can measure the ruler!

Nasr, cold start all are old strategies...

Cold start got replaced about 8 and 1/2 years back. So is the Nasr based strategy of firing to advancing column in their own soil for defending.

Get a life .. strategy in public domain are the ones which are "legacy" strategies.. similar the retaliation option in open is also not a first reply option. It's media who fools blind folks of both sides who keeps on harping on cold start and Nasr. Thereby increasing newsprint sales..

Both India and Pakistan has moved much ahead with their strategies and counter strategies...

I fully agree with u sir, but here our discussion on NASR? If pakistan use it any circumstance or madness, what option will left for india then. scenario(s) ??

Agreed

esting of NASR and associated cold tests of Nasr nuke warheads gave us the confidence to declare Tactical nuke warheads a success. If you have anything to counter that. Be my guest. If Not keep parroting
Well We Still has There doubts Assumption

Now com back to India On 13 May 1998 , at 12.21 p.m.IST 6:51 UTC, two sub-kiloton devices (Shakti IV and V) were detonated. Due to their very low yield, these explosions were not detected by any seismic station

    • Shakti IV- A 0.5 kt experimental device.
    • Shakti V – A 0.2 kt experimental device.
An additional, sixth device (Shakti VI) is suspected to have been present but not detonated

The types of weapons India is believed to have available for its arsenal include:

  • a pure fission plutonium bomb with a yield of 12 kt;
  • a fusion boosted fission bomb with a yield of 15-20 kt, made with weapon-grade ploutonium;
  • a fusion boosted fission bomb design, made with reactor-grade plutonium;
  • low yield pure fission plutonium bomb designs with yields from 0.1 kt to 1 kt;
  • a thermonuclear bomb design with a yield of 200-300 kt.
Public information and trade estimates indicate following types of Indian RV warheads:
  1. Mk-4: For light weight 17Kt Fusion Boosted Fission (FBF) warhead5. Mass6: ~180 Kg7.
  2. Mk-5: For 50Kt FBF or 200Kt Thermo Nuclear (TN) warhead8. Mass: ~340 Kg
  3. Mk-6: For 150Kt FBF warhead9. Mass: ~550 Kg.

Use plural, India has thermonuclear bombs: Kakodkar

In other words,the Shakti -1 is the thermonuclear device that was tested . So , after the test, the S1 ( it's military designation will be different) became India's thermonuclear weapon.

The controversy of INDIA not carrying out enough nuclear tests to get all the data required to design a Thermonuclear weapon , fact remains that with the advent of Scalable supercomputer clustering Process , nuclear explosions can be Simulated down to the molecular level. Therefore , India does not need to carry out as many nuclear tests as the P-5 members did in the 60s and 70s unless of course India wants to drastically change the physical and mathematical models that describe the nuclear explosion that is being simulated. This is because throwing more computing resources at a simulation whose fundamental equations are flawed will not improve the accuracy of the solution.

Treaties forbid the detonation of nuclear test weapons — which creates problems for national defense developers who need to efficiently certify the effectiveness of their arsenal. Luckily for them, a powerful new supercomputer is now able to replicate the physical impact of nuclear explosions — albeit digitally. And luckily for us, the resulting innovations may spill over to more constructive areas.

EXCLUSIVE
India Is Building a Top-Secret Nuclear City to Produce Thermonuclear Weapons, Experts Say

Bush Administration Nuclear Policy Enabled India’s H-bomb Program :US Report

http://fpif.org/bush-administration-nuclear-policy-enabled-indias-h-bomb-program/

India may be embarking on a covert uranium enrichment project aimed at producing thermonuclear weapons, a number of sources have recently speculated.

This week, Reuters reported that analysts at IHS Jane’s believe that the uranium enrichment facility at the Indian Rare Metals Plant is able to produce about twice as much weapons-grade uranium as New Delhi will need to fuel its nuclear powered ballistic missile submarines in the future.

“Taking into account all the enriched uranium likely to be needed by the Indian nuclear submarine fleet, there is likely to be a significant excess,” said Matthew Clements, editor of IHS Jane’s Intelligence Review, according toReuters. “One potential use of this would be for the development of thermonuclear weapons.”

This assessment has been seconded by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI). In arecent research brief, SIRPI noted, “A new unsafeguarded gas centrifuge facility appears to be under construction at the Rare Metals Plant near Mysore. India’s expanded centrifuge enrichment capacity has been motivated by plans to build new naval propulsion reactors, but the potential excess capacity could also signify its intent to move towards thermonuclear weapons by blending the current plutonium arsenal with uranium secondaries.”

SubMarine Launched Platform

Delivery System are Arihant Class Nuclear Submarine
Ins_S62.jpg

With in Future Agni-6 or K series SLBMs Which can carry 6-8 RV Mk-5 and Mk-6 Which Yields upto 150-200KT

In Single Agni-6 or K series Missile
200KTx 6/8 warheads =1.2- 1.6 MT Yield

India Nuclear Submarine INS Aridhaman can carry 8 K series SLBMs

Now calculate 1.6 Mt x 8 Missiles =12.8 Megatons

We will Use Prahaar and shaurya
Prahaar is Being Built strategically into Arty divisions in Cold start

Both the friends always cries Nuclear...Nuclear. I.e in another thread discussing a hypothetical war between US and China, the Chinese members were also howling Nuclear..Nuclear!!

On the topic : while am a civilian and whatever knowledge I got from here, the use of NASR is only a blackmail. Even if it is fired and it managed to get exploded:D whole Pakistan is barbecued with some Indian cities....may be !!

"some" indian cities? :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Yeah, you are a civilian with literally zero knowledge of defence related matters. Hang around, you'll learn, kid.

All terrain capable vehicles look like this

Are you stupid or what

TATA Is Giant In Defense Manufacturing The Weapon testing range Of DRDO is Pokhran

Look below pinaka MBRL in Seminar vehicle Check the Terrain Below

This indigenous high mobility, all-terrain and all-wheel-drive LPTA 5252-12x12 vehicle is specifically for missile launcher-cum-carrier applications like integration of Prahaar, BrahMos and Nirbhay Missiles, in close coordination with R&DE – DRDO.

So this should not be all terrain? As it not look like above picture?

And the right word is all weather, not all terrain. No vehicle is all terrain, neither Pak capable to deploy them in hills.

Further

This is neither all weather neither all terrain as it is not canisterized.
