Thank you for being so serious...
"Glass cockpit" means the MFD-izing (digitizing) of the cockpit instead of having analog controls since the Multifunction Displays are all glass panels. Also the Cockpit is the inside. Canopy is the outside glass. If the pilot was impressed by the canopy then it would have said "impressed by glass canopy"...although it would not since all canopies are glass (the art is if the canopy is one piece glass as in the F-16 and US fighters or split like you see on the JF-17).

New Recruit
We need these JF-17s up in the skies as soon as possible becuase the F-7P/PGs are not very popular due to the accident rates. If a decade old aircraft of this era with all the R&D, technological advancements/improvements starts developing control column jams, engine flame out and ejection system problem right after a decade, then i think we better knock the Chinese door again. On a serious note, I think we could have managed and lived with the F-6 ten more years before grounding it and inducting the JF-17. Even the F-86 lived more successfully. That reminds me of a recent crash of an F-7PG (Sep 07) S/L Ammar Batt was a senior pilot of his sqn, infact the flight leader (No. 17 Sqn Tigers, PAF Base Samungli) with successful tenure/tour of duty, having adquate hours on the F-16 before joining No. 17 Sqn.
Sorry you are 4 years late.Deleated i never read it yyyyyyyyyyy?
