The problem is Iran is a democracy, their government is elected by the people, its not a dictatorship.
Saddam was overthrown by Shia. Gaddafi was a nobody. Nicaragua? Seriously?
You said they never overthrew any government. I just gave you 3. Big or small, everything or nothing - doesn't matter.Saddam was overthrown by Shia. Gaddafi was a nobody. Nicaragua? Seriously?

I don't think Russia would just let Iran alone, if the US succesfully overthrow Iran than it would lead Russia in dangerous situation cause US can use Iran as base for attacking Russiairan doesn't border russia either, iran cannot rely on russia to supply a single bullet if the US invades because it will be because of russia's uselessness that the US felt able to invade in the first place

Hopefully we never find out but what is 100% clear is that Iran cannot rely on anyone else for its defence.I don't think Russia would just let Iran alone, if the US succesfully overthrow Iran than it would lead Russia in dangerous situation cause US can use Iran as base for attacking Russia
Then why does Russia refuse to sell Iran, fighters/bombers or even S400?Iran is getting weapons in massive quantities from Russia if the US tries to overthrown Iran.
lol
I don't know what body exactly you refer to as " government "
It is not the " government " that rules Iran but the supreme leader and he alone decides who can run for election. In on the one occasion that one candidate that did not follow the supreme leader line , got elected - Mousavi - they faked the results and put the Supreme leader candidate instead.
I do not know where you got the notion that Iran is a democracy. It is a dictatorship in every sense of the word. Not only that , it is an islamic dictatorship , which means that Iranian are ruled by the supreme leader and his mullah bodies as well as being supported by a sharia influenced constitution that gives the mullah dictators even more excuse to tighten their grip on their people.
You should listen carefully to what those Iranian protestors are chanting. They are not chanting " please replace the democratically elected government " , but - death to the dictator ...

Iranians think your system is broken, why should they not overthrow your government?
