US to handover a Naval ship ‘BNS Somudro Joy’ to Bangladesh

Whats India's economy growth? Heard Bangladesh can grow 6-7% for the next few if there is no politocal chaos going on

Well , IMF predicts that BD will grow 6-7% a year over the next five years, taking into account the current political situation.

India is predicted to grow a little less(only a fraction of a percentage difference though) over the same time period.

If you aware or not our growth has reduced this year for political unreast. I think it will be less the next year too.But 6-7 % is still not enough for us to compare with a country like india who has a bigger economy. They are ahead of us and will be ahead if their growth increases by only 1-2%. We have still a long way to go.

It is true Indian economy is too big to compare with BD economy. But, if BD economy grows at, say, 7% and India's grow by, say, 4% there will be a time when our per capita GDP is near or above them.

A future economy is very difficult to predict. India may be facing some temporary set back now, but it has a strong base of primary industry supported both by the secondary and tertiary industries. A country ahead in technology suddenly at some point leaps forward very fast.

Actually BD has more scope to increase GDP growth than India has.

India has pretty much reached the limit of what it can achieve as regards GDP growth(around 7% a year), which is primarily due to the fact that it is a federal state and the government is much weaker than unitary states like BD. If the BD government is willing and capable, massive infrastructure projects can be initiated across the country but that is not possible in India as the central government has to work with state governments before these projects can be started.

Yes, it is true that India has more industry than BD has but you need to consider that it does have 8 times more people. Italy is more industrialised than Austria but Austrians are much better off than Italians. It is natural that a smaller country has less industry than a larger one.

Contirbution of industry to the actual GDP in India is not better than BD despite having a strong mining industry. Besides contribution of manufacturing in Indian GDP is far lesser than BD's manufacturing. Also percentage of BD workforce working in industry is more than the percentage of Indian workforce working in industry.

I think Next BD should ask for transferring soon to be retired USS Enterprise.

This is the Ship which will be answer to Indian Hegemonic designs over the region.

This ship was the one which brought shivers to Indian Top Brass when it entered BoB in 1971 war.

Induct this ship & BN will be the operator of largest ship after American Navy in the World

USS ENTERPRISE IN BN FTW!!!!!
