Really Saudi or UAE will bail them out. Pakistanis were suffering from floods in 2010 and 2011 but these countries never opened their hands to help the suffering people.

I really think that this is going to do a lot of good to Pakistan in a long run. Sure they will stumble for a small time as the aid is cut suddenly but for sure this is going to put the leaders of Pakistan to think on ideas on how to stabise the economy with local investment.
I wish that Pakistan stand firm on its feet and be a more responsible and stable player in the region.

You think this money helps our economy? Or does it eventually see it's way over to certain banks, in certain countries (Switzerland) in certain people's bank accounts.

At least now we'll be less reliant on the US. Their money wont buy the blood of our people that way.

In my opinion Pakistan should not miss this opportunity. Pakistan can become more independent & should stop letting any super power to breathe down your neck. Next Pakistan should elect a strong civilian government with a secular & progressive outlook. This government should have the power to take all major decisions and the administration of the country should rest in its hands. The army should only handle defence related areas. Business / trade, education & welfare should be given high priority. Religion should be seperated from governance & religious laws like the 'blasphemy laws' should be abolished. Minorities should be protected. Ofcourse these changes will not be easy & will be time consuming but it will eventually happen if the effort is started now. The country's diplomacy should be good and should have friendly relationship with most countries in the world without depending on any powers financially or for protection & most of all have an independent foreign policy.
Ofcourse this is just my opinion but I feel if this happens Pakistan will be rated among the top countries in the world.

All that Aid money goes into the foreign bank accounts of the politicians, anyway. Pakistan is better off without this aid because it compromises our sovereignty. It is about time Pakistan learns to stand on its own two feet
