Your rhetoric aside, actually I'm against the aid but its the fact that the US is making hostile moves against the very request of a Palestinian state that is shameful. Of course its nothing new, the US has always given aid out of guilt / to make them look less horrible, but in the long run it has vetoed anything anti-Israel or Pro-Palestinian. The US also gives compensation after killing civilians as collateral damage. You are better off not giving the aid since it won't help wash away your original sins OR you can give ZERO aid and not oppose resolutions that are in favor of Palestinians and you will get much better PR.

But as things stand, Shame! Is all you should feel.

Then it is about time we be more selective with our aid. Funny that the muslims are quite silent for them being so stingy in aid to their 'brothers and sisters' in Palestine.

I don't understand what is the problem here. Just because the US gave aid to the Palestinians, they should not demand a Free Palestine state? A state promised by the Israeli and US presidents in the past?

The "wrath" is no longer an issue here. Its just an example of wether the US will continue to pummel its international standing by acts like vetoing UN recognition of Palestine.

The UNSC resolution will probably be 14-1 with a similar vote in the General Assembly.

No one is asking the US to be Pro-Palestine, but atleast be even-handed for once.

Israel has been receiving about $3Billion USD per year and the highest per capita aid from the US in the world.

Above that, most of the hi-tech exports of Israel are JVs with US companies and they sell to the US govt. as well.

Ofcourse, the Israel does not need US aid, it doesn't even need a US security guarantee. There is no existential threat to Israel especially since it acquired nukes.

That is why vetoing recognition of a Free Palestine state is even more incomprehensible by both Israel and US.
