Doesn't matter, we have never had a no-first use policy against the major nations like China or Russia and we have not fired off nukes yet, so you will have to trust us with that history. It is also our prerogative to not have one. I'm guessing you don't trust Russia either.

I'm not condemning the US for dropping the 2 a-bombs on Japan, on the contrary it's probably the best thing the US did for ending the war in the Pacific. What the US does is portraying other countries as evil nations if they are in possession of wmd. The US still have a large amount of chemical weapons stored away and who can guarantee the US won't be using them in the future?
