Indian lobby is making sure that these F-16's don't have hard points and radars, as this would create such a huge risk for India. The only thing these jets should carry are the drop tanks and a machine gun with 200 rounds. Indians think that provides adequate protection to Pakistan's air defense needs
These -16's are coming with everything. Including a built in digital pisser where the pilot can take a piss in as he flies the plane !! And did I tell you its the first of like 4 other orders Pakistan wants to place over the next three years (currently negotiating with the UAE for block 60 to be authorized to be built for Pakistan).
Hello Viper, how are you doing? I've been following your discussions and debates for quite some time now and been expressing my respect by liking your posts. This is the first time I'm quoting you in context of the highlighted text above. It's actually confusing to me as to why Pakistan should be in any negotiations with UAE when LM is offering the same or higher level tech with its "V" version of F-16? I mean isn't it independent of Block-60 that UAE has?
And also, what does the nuclear capable F-16 mean? According to my limited knowledge, F-16s aren't capable of firing a cruise missiles (neither nuclear nor conventional). Not Pakistani F-16s at least. Don't know about USAF and NATO's though. So, what I'm interested in asking is whether such capability comes as part and parcel with "V" or Block 60 F-16s? Aren't Block 52+ in our current inventory capable of the same? And if indeed the new purchase F-16s ARE nuclear capable (as per my understanding of the subject based on usage of cruise missiles) then, doesn't it represent a major policy shift vis-a-vis Pakistan, India, China and Asia as a whole? ALSO. . . LOL! Sorry for dragging on. . . If cruise missile in fact are going to be green lit for integration on our birds then, which missiles will they be? Will Pakistani Ra'ad be THE one or one among OTHERS? If others then, what options can US provide for ALCM?
Thanks and looking forward to your input on the subject.
Best regards,
Peace.
