Shooting down of that Russian fighter must have made F16 owners really proud of their machines!?! Since Israeli aggression against Lebanon, F16 has caught the better part of public imagination in Turkey, so when we started producing them ourselves at TAI, our joys knew no bounds. When has that craze started in Pakistan?

Shooting down a decade old SU-24s , without any sufficient system for dog fights , not makes F-16S SO SUPER ?

Simple & naked reasons why Pakistan still goes for the dam F-16s are the kickbacks which don't need to be disscused cause its been disscused & agreed upon a decade ago ?
Our politicians feel ezy with F-16s cause they are safe with that , they knew every one is involved but will never be opened in media so they feel safe to get agreed kickbacks & it also shows their political loyalty towards uncle Sam ?

No its not needed , geo political situation is changing very fast ?
Russia needs bridge between them & islam ?
Specially , after comiting sirya , its has no vital Islamic sunni state as its partner ?
It has Iran , which is still isolated in the Islamic world ?
Pakistan , with its huge relations with KSA ,TURKEY even Iran has a lot to offer Russia & Russia is building a very fast pace relationship with Pakistan .
