12:10 A.M. CNN reported Wednesday that the United States has agreed to an Israeli request for several types of ammunition as the ground battle in Gaza is entering its third week.

According to CNN, the items being bought are 120mm mortar rounds and 40mm ammunition for grenade launchers. Those will come from a stockpile the United States keeps in Israel, which is worth more than $1 billion, officials said.

You also forgot another $359 million before or after that. I can't remember, also the 3.6$ billion regular annual aid discluding other funding to other missile systems. So at least $5 billion in this year alone.

The source says so, not me. In my first post I mentioned that they are being given munitions, not mortars. Missiles, bombs, etc...

And nothing indicates it was a 'sale', most likely taxpayers paying for this.
