Us renews sanction against iran

Isn't you Modi wrapping his Dhoti around the Irani?

Seems like the Indian chabahar wet dreams may be coming to an premature demise?

:)
India has voted against Iran regarding the nuclear issue.
But we like their oil and port access.:enjoy:
India will play this game for its own interest only.

Iran is a signatory to NPT , CTBT , PTBT etc.

So if Iran violates terms of any of its treaties, India has no choice bu to vote against them.

Beyond that, India seeks good relations with Iran based on mutual self interest, good will and shared history.

I do not see any contradiction.

Yes, i agree... the old policy of, moo par ram ram bakhaal may chouree... plays perfectly well. I just wish the neoliberal of pakistan also understood this.

I wish the Kabul gov also realized this... but Alas their misplaced hatred of Pakistan blinds them to the reality that friendship with India is usually a self defeating proposition.... I.e. no loyalty expected. ...

.
I assume you are replying to me.

1. No offence is taken especially since you did not even have enough courage or Integrity to tag me in your reply

2. Anyone can express their opinion, ONLY I AM NOT INTERESTED in the opinion of a non Iranian. So don't bother sharing it with me.

3. Iran has been under trade embargo and the threat to its national interest continues. So the compromise on its national interest is rather obvious even to people with half a brain. If its not obvious to you, then maybe you might consider growing a brain ?
I was replying to you, the site won't take it as it happened now I had to do it twice, so swallow back you words..
I was raised with Iranians, knew some of the Shah family as well as from Khomeiny family, I am sure I know them better than you do, but you do not have to take interest in my posts, you are entitled to that.. I responded to your post because it is empty of logic and knowledge about Iran or better concentrate on the following words, The Islamic Republic of Iran, now you might understand something about interests, back stabbing (like what India did to Iran in UN before the first sanctions 30 some years ago), Sanctions imposed by the west (for the simple reason it was an Islamic revolution that has cut ties with the West due to its interventions and back stabbing) and trust..
I am not expecting any answer from you since you already showed you ignorance in the Iranian matters...India is an Oil customer of Iran, apart from that what can India offer Iran? some back stabbing or polluting its waters when it asks for its money?

Kabul will side with India because it is beneficial for them, they are opposed to Pakistan because of Taliban.
If Pakistan agrees to all the demands of Afghanistan then surely you guys can be friends:D

Yes... that is true... minus the Taliban stuff especially post 2012.

But the only difference is with Pakistani friendship comes loyalty. It a blood thing. :)

It would. Iran is not a expansionist state. The previous century of history proves it. It is not like the region does not have nukes - Pakistan next door has them already and Israel down the road also has them. What nukes would do is secure Iran's paranoid fear of insecurity which when looked at from Tehran's perspective looks like half the world is out to get you. The experiance of Iraq has reinforced the fear of weak state that they are prone to invasion causing disasterous fractures with non stop bleeding like we see in that country, Therefore nukes would assuage Tehrans fears and actually contribute to security and stability in the region.

It would bring that country out of the seige mentality it has afflicted on itself because of it's history of abuse and make it a important player in the region.
Bro, I am one of your admirers but you got this wrong.

Why do you think that Iran and Iraq fought a war? Because Ayatollah Khomeini was looking forward to expand his influence across the Middle East and motivate Shia sects in the neighboring countries to take over. Iranians may deny this but many Iraqi will attest to it. Dispute over shatt-al-arab was just a cover. In the end, millions died for nothing.

Just take a look at the present situation in the Middle East. Iranian-backed forces (and even Iranians themselves) are participating in conflicts in Iraq, Syria, Yemen and Lebanon. They are active everywhere.

1. In Syria, they are supporting a bloodthirsty dictator in Bashar al-Assad who is responsible for the destruction of his country and deaths of a large number of innocent Syrians.

2. In Lebanon, they are supporting Hezbollah who orchestrated a war with Israel in 2006 and Lebanon suffered immensely as a consequence. Many innocent Lebanese perished.

3. In Iraq, they want to ensure that Shia sect stays in power (by force if necessary).

Wherever they are involved, their actions are controversial and intent questionable.

This is a clash of ideologies my friend; Wahhabi versus Shia. They will stop at nothing until they gain control of Mecca and Medina. Do you know that Iranians attempted to seize Holy Kaaba in 1970s, boasting about arrival of Imam Mehdi there?

Therefore, the mistrust and divide we see in the Middle East.

This country should not be allowed to become a nuclear power. Otherwise, the entire Middle East will push towards nuclearization and you know how volatile this region is.

I see no reason to take my words back since I was able to tag you and you did not tag me. I continue to believe you chose not to tag me on purpose.

Your personal and private claims about knowing Iranians and how / what they think don't mean anything. It could be a lie or it could be your version of the "truth" coloured by your prejudice and /or bias.

Its funny that you accuse India for supporting sanction against Iran in 1980 especially since India itself was under sanction since 1974 after exploding our first nuke. A sanction which Iran supported BTW

Your ignorance is profound and here you are accusing me of ignorance :cheesy: ....and here you are talking about "logic" :P

India expects nations to honour its international agreements and makes no exception for Iran. Which is one of the reason India never signed the NPT or CTBT.

PS: I know you are either a Chinese or of Chinese origin, so spare me the story about you being raised by Iranians. lol.

Raised with Iranians, I do not have to lie for an argument or anything else.. you can speculate what you want, it just shows that you are trolling!
Iran of 73 and Iran of 80 are two different things here you are showing your ignorance again and on purpose this time, just to make a point.. sorry body it does not work.. it is also India that didn't respect its agreement on paying its dues to Iran and when asked to it tried to pollute Iranian waters, that is how dirty Indian mind is..
I told you I do not expect any answer from you, your trolling and ignorance are too obvious..please spare yourself time and effort and go play on some Indian thread..

.
Enough is enough. Iran should go fuckin nuclear as fast as possible. If they're being sanctioned without developing nukes. As this rate they better build them. This should bring some stability in Middle East and stop Israel and Saudi dictating ME affairs.
Iran has every right in the world to develop nukes. No other country face as much threat as them.

This country should not be allowed to become a nuclear power. Otherwise, the entire Middle East will push towards nuclearization and you know how volatile this region is.
Good enough. ME countries are invaded without nukes. And Israel having nukes did not force thee whole ME to go nuclear.

.
As soon as possible for Iran,it is a time to become a 2nd Islamic Nuke country.

Your personal claims and lies are irrelevant to any point.

How does it matter if Iran of 73 is different fro Iran of 80's or 90's or 2010 ? No one outside Iran cares about the internal politics of Iran. All they care about is how they act in the global stage and the consistency in their stand and global obligation.

There has been no instance of India not paying Iran whatever is due. In fact in 2016 Iran has increased its Oil Export to India by 110% in just one year.

In fact Iran-India cooperation in the Chabahar port is primarily to offset Chinese port in Gwadar (pakistan) and boost Iran Afghanistan trade. India has helped Iran to develop Chabahar, as the country's FIRST deep-water port.

Geo Politics will ensure that Indo-Iran relationship will only grow strong. So there is no point in chinese like you getting frustrated and abusing others. :disagree:

"Nima Pourang, head of the maritime-pollution department of the Iranian Environment Protection Organization, told the Fars news agency that the tanker had been detained because it discharged its oily ballast water 30 miles away from Iran's Lavan Island in the Persian Gulf. That discharge "caused a 10-mile-length oil stain on the sea," and experts from Iranian ports were inspecting the tanker, he told Fars."

Iran of the Shah era is totally different than Iran after the revolution, their foreign affairs were totally the opposite, so here you are lying again about back stabbing Iran Revolution, The Shah was pro US, if he back stabbed you you should have dealt with him and his regime..

Your investments in the Shabahar port is merely a 100 million$..And you say you helped Iran!? and that is the only deep water port in Iran!!!. You just spit a lie after the other..
The day will come when you won;t be able to get any Oil from Iran nor Iraq...India was caught making bomb components for ISIS.. just lately, and guess who is fighting ISIS.. Iran and Iraq, so you Oil days are counted..
EU report: Seven Indian companies are making parts used in Isis bombs

These are the facts every serious poster on PDF knows, so either keep you lies and trolling to yourself or come up with your own facts backed by sources..

LOL at your desperate propaganda.

Iran is free to arrest any ship that pollute its water. Indian or chinese.

Also the port is called chabahar port, not "shabahar". Indian investment is 500 million $ and It IS THE FIRST DEEP WATER PORT IN IRAN. Thank you very much.

Like I said, no one cares if shah was pro US or mullas are anti US. That is Iran's internal politics and it does not matter to non Iranians. What continues to matter is their commitment to global treaties and agreements.

Considering India is Iran's largest consumer of Oil ....... their LARGEST consumer, all the luck spinning your chinese fantasy that Iran will not sell oil to India
