US refuses to talk China with India

India knows verywell that it's no

Join naval operation with US mean Indian navy will have take order from U.S and not the other way around and not only that U.S can dictate Indian navy in India Ocean since the operation can cover from SCS to Indian Ocean, this like invite wolf into the house..and possibly that U.S will demand base in India as pretext to support naval operation. Make concession just to be kept in loop about China is pretty cheap geopolitcal dividen, why India want to be a slave and take order from U.S as Japan did when itself can be master on it own?

Because the US has no territory or serious beef with India and the military gap between India and China is getting larger and larger.

Why did China become a slave of Russian military hardware for decades? It was because they were forced into it out of necessity. Necessity will be the driver for India.

That's not true that the military gab between India and China is getting larger, go ask Indians
And because we import some Russians engines mean we're slave, did we take order from Russia as Japan with US? this is pretty retard as analogical assessement.

And what necessity are you talking about? are you trying to insinuate that India can't defend itself and need U.S protection?

He
And with that, the quality of the forum just jumped upwards by a sizeable amount. :D

Seriously though, 90% of that Indian's posts were nothing except: "stupid chi bot, lol... idiot chi bot... lol".

Gone are the days when these trolls at least tried to put forward a semi-coherent argument.
He is not Indian but from Romania,He is anti India but does not hurl insults like this at us.

Did all this come out of the recent Indo-American nasty political trade o O
Not really.
If anything the two parties have disagreed more than they’ve agreed in public. In a speech in Chennai,India somewhere in 2011 Hillary Clinton had admitted that the US and India from time to time disagree as any two nations.
Hillary Clinton is a steadfast India supporter but when it comes to America’s foreign policy in Asia-Pacific the president’s priorities could be summed up in one word.... China.
How can one forget that on his inaugural visit to the region as president in November 2009 the US leader spent four days in mainland China issued a joint statement that said Beijing was key to “peace, stability, and development in South Asia” and skipped India altogether.
Washington thinks throwing its energies into strengthening relationships with India is a waste of time because India will continue to drift closer to Washington as a matter of course. It has nowhere else to go.
But things are changing....Russia and India have never been closer than this.

Your defense budget is going up far faster than theirs and they are well aware of it.

And because we import some Russians engines mean we're slave,

I said China spent billions on Russian hardware for decades out of necessity. If you had the technological know-how back in the mid 1940's you would never have given Russia a nickel for their stuff. You would have done it yourselves. But necessity required you to rely on them until you became self-sufficient in making your own. You guys feared Japan or the US was going to roll on you again and so the Russians happily sold you stuff to allay those fears. In fact you still worry about Japan even to this day with Abe in office. Do you see the US worrying about Japan or Abe? Do you really think the US is worried about Japan invading any of our islands...yeah right.

Who said you took orders from them. Who says India will have to suddenly take orders from the USA?
Why do you think the similar fears you had over Japan or the US over the past decades is not applicable to the fears your neighbors have against you??? Can't you see the obvious similarities????

Do you think India worries about the USA more than China militarily?
Ask the same questions to other countries around you.

I would expect to see more dialogues with other countries in the region - with China being excluded of course. With China expanding their map of control...countries will start lining up to be in on the security dialogues.
John Kerry Chap seems more tied to security talks on Pakistan with India and very limited on China

Lenovo just bought a section from IBM in bangalore

Are you telling me Indians can't tell the difference between the brand names IBM and Lenovo?

And that they made Lenovo the #1 PC maker in India because they were unable to read the different brand names?

Regardless, out of all the top 5 PC makers in India, none of them are Indian. They are either Chinese (Lenovo) or American (Dell/HP).

Our defense budget is bigger that doesn't mean that all are assigned against India, the bigh chunk of this budget is to defend against Japan and US on Pacifc front.

Russia military is just a windown opportunity, we're not rely on them for our core defense that's why we could allow ourself to halt any contracts such IL76 when Russia was trying to jack up the price. Russia know that we're not at 1960s which we were totally at their mercy for technical assistance.

As for Japan, you must be the mind reader to tell that we feared them , in WWII they could bomb us we couldn't retaliate but nowaday, the entire Japan is between our reach. And for U.S, in the contrary American fear not Chinese military but China's rise and to catch up that's why they're so desperated to sell China's threat around the world.

It will be so obvious If India join the U.S lead naval operation, it will have to take order from US as how Phillipine and Japan did, they wouldn't dare to take initiative on their own that could compromise US geopilitical interest...any Indian declaration or statement will have to get U.S approval.

As for the similarities, it's just a total bullsh1ts, China fear Japan + US? we can say the same about Japan and US, both fear China that's why they need alliance to face China, they just couldn't handle China on their own. As for the rest of our neighbors, if they're paranoid about China, it's their problems, any action taken against China will expect reaction or retaliation.

What ?

Forget it.

Most Indians say that Lenovo becoming the #1 PC maker in the world was "only because" they bought IBM in 2005.

That to me is nonsense. The only reason IBM sold their PC division was because it was doing poorly. And people can obviously tell the difference between the brand name Lenovo and IBM, the brand names don't even look similar.

My family has been buying Lenovo computers since it was founded. Long before 2005.
