US played key role in release of Abhinandan

The entire world has seen Pakistan bring down two superpowers on thier knees in Afghanistan and have the backbone to conduct nuclear tests( something even the Iranians couldnt do) all within a span of 3 decades and some dellusional extremist fcks who have no notion of geopolitical and strategic manoveours still think we give in to pressure lol. Well fck u n ur dellusions. U idiots are too stupid to comprehend the games we played.

yes sir- we disobey allah ---------but not USA-
I Don't know man. But it certainly made many people around the world to see Pakistan in a different light.

Even a harsh critique like myself who always talks rubbish about Pak and its military could not but praise Pak for the gesture they showed towards that Pow.

Because the USA is the sole super power, one of Pakistans biggest trading partners, and one of the largest military equipment suppliers.

So when they said let the pilot go and stop bullying India, the Pak military listened.
We didnt listen, we made the Yanks assure us that the situation will de escalate, they gave there assurances and hence the pilot released. The situation de escalated didnt it? Didnt the yanks issue a statement that they played key role in defusing the statement? People need to learn to read between the lines to figure out what happened. If the Yanks were able to pressure us into submission woudnt they have used that pressure to make us abandon the Taliban in Afghanistan? How did that work out?

Let me guess, u are the ttp sort, well guess what? We made mince meat of ur buddies in waziristan, want a taste, khawarji?

The only ones who were played in Pakistan were the ttp sorts like u or the communist thugs like bla......lol u talk of islam and then promote the narrative of those who waged war against the sole nuclear islamic republic with the help of hindoo mushriks of india. U and ur sort are worse than the munafiqs of medina........

My friend,
Do u think Pakistan has the power to disobey the order of mighty USA ? In which world do u live in?

Having said that, I personally appreciate the way Pak treated that Pow. Good job.
At time of war we only need to listen to China.

See....u people have no real info, u just like to talk, talk a lot...not that i approve of the alsauds but the ttp was funded and trained in ajoint venture of cia/raw, the sauds were nowhere near it. Didnt u see Pakistan bringing America to its knees in Afghanistan? Arent they talking to out boys about leaving for good, havent they given up? N u still promote narrative of ttp that Pakistan bows to the USA? This is the narrative ttp dogs promoted to recruit naive youth from waziristan.

At time of war we only need to listen to China.
And they listen to us, that is what allies do and this is what is meant by mutual cooperation. We did China a lot of favours, specially in the cruise missle and fighter jet domain in the past at the cost of loosing trust of the yanks. China has not forgotten it.

India was not the real issue here, we will eat india raw when the time comes, this escalation was not indian design, someone was not happy that the americans are leaving afghanistan, someone wanted to sabotage that by conjuring up a conflict here, that someone was not the americans. These issues are tackled with a clear head, we need the americans to leave afghanistan so that we can place our boys in kabul and breathe on the western front. Our economy is not in a state to sustain a large conflict. Learn from the example of Rasool Allah, he didnt retaliate against the mushriks, he only defended medina, he didnt strike back, he waited patiently until a time came when he took makkah without even unsheating his sword. And sorry for the harsh words used before.

We have killed many of their soldiers in afghanistan and made their lives a misery there. So much so they will be leaving the afghan hell-hole in the not too distant future...........:azn:

Pakistan was not ready to 'give in' but US made it clear that the Wg Cdr won't be a 'bargaining chip'

The United States weighed in on the Pakistan Army through high-level military channels to release Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman within hours of his capture on February 27, making it clear to Rawalpindi that it was the only way to de-escalate matters.

AS reliably gathered that at the instance of Washington, US Centcom Commander Gen. Joseph Votel spoke to Pakistan Army Chief Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa “encouraging him” to release Wing Commander Abhinandan at the earliest.

Centcom Commander is the principal interface for the Pakistan Army Chief with the US. Centcom is responsible for operations in Afghanistan and Pakistan and is involved in facilitating the diplomatic effort to engage the Taliban.

The communication loop on the US end, sources said, was largely between Gen Votel and National Security Advisor John Bolton, who was in regular touch with his Indian counterpart Ajit Doval. He, however, let Gen Votel handle the channel with the Pakistan Army.

The US message was reinforced by the United Kingdom, which has “deep influence” with the Pakistan Army. The US interlocutors, including Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen Joseph Dunford , who also spoke to his Pakistan counterpart Gen Zubair Mahmood Hayat, made it clear that Washington saw the Pakistan action after India’s counter-terrorism strike on Balakot as escalatory.

Gen Votel’s message opened several other channels of communication through which a constant message was put .. that Pakistan must release Wing Commander Abhinandan without delay, said sources.

However, sources said, there was considerable pressure within the Pakistan system not to “give in” as a captured Indian pilot was a “prize catch” in a warlike situation. US military interlocutors, on the other hand, told Pakistan Army that it would not endorse the use of Wing Commander Abhinandan as a “bargaining chip”

India, meanwhile, had moved up its forces and asked Washington to ensure that Wing Commander Abhinandan was treated with dignity. At some point in constant conversation, the Pakistan Army agreed in consultation with its government. And while Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s announcement was welcome, there was fair amount of tension on the day Wing Commander Abhinandan was to walk across the Wagah border.

Suddenly, sources said, there was a message from some quarters in Pakistan that ..L egal obstacles” had to be cleared.

Those in the know of details told that the day was spent again in pushing Pakistani officials at all levels to not delay the release at the last moment. It was only after hours of repeated conversations between American and Pakistani officials that the release was finally facilitated,

MOST OF THE WAR WAS FOUGHT IN TV CHANNEL,S ACROSS INDIA AND PAKISTAN-------

THE SHOW MUST GO - ON

1.4 billion mighty "superpower" has to go crying to the americans to save their military personnel from 7× SMALLER Pakistan.......:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:................you couldn't even make it up...........

As i said we will wait for the right time, we cannot go agressive on two fronts with the yanks sitting in afghanistan, they surrounded us from both sides using ttp..... when we are free from Afghanistan, we will focus on India and the countless freedom movements in her. One glitter of that was shown in kartarpur move. Kashmir is an another issue, do u think we have forgotten the children of APS?, we will drink gangoo bloof but we must wait for the right time. As i said learn from the example of Rasool Allah.

It's a too big country to bomb. We don't have enough nukes let alone conventional bombs to bomb them to their knees. Reminds me of the Iraq war. The media used to show big stars covering the Iraq map as if the whole country had been bombed into submission. In reality the US forces were fighting for each mile and got bogged down in a painful guerrilla war.
