I think we should not get attached to western media where Pakistan and Pakistani scientist are portrayed as evil. It is onesided negative pr to push Pakistan in a certain corner. If Khan is so bad then what about all western companies that sold him everything? The guy did deliver uranium enrichment idea from Urenco but that is all. At that time Pakistan was a paria state and no wonder he got into trading. Wrong I agree but if you kick a dog every time then do you accept love and tender in return?

I don't understand why no one cares about how Israel got its nukes (UK). I never hear someone about Indians using the same Khan network...

To put it simple. Khan was a hero. Khan is a hero. And Khan will be a hero. He delivered Pakistan valuable technology. Nukes are bad but why for Pakistan only? They treated Pakistan extremely bad and they expect all... And what have western nations done for earth or particular Asia? They robbed the resources. They dumped it when it was no longer needed. Now the plug the Democracy title on it if they agree with governments and they love to use terrorist title if one does not agree with them. To put it simple. Forget the onesided crap.

u r wrong,there are lot of good news about pakistan in the westen media. the negative reporting of pakistan is blown out of proportion by your own people who have taken asylum abroad.

AQ Khan will always be a hero. What he did for Pakistan and the entire Islamic civilization is a feat that will go down in history! In him beat the heart of a true dedicated moslem scientist whos goal was to make Pakistan so secure and powerful that its enemies dare not cast an evil eye on it. He was born in Bhopal and experienced the atrocities commited by fanatic terrorizing hindus on minority Moslems. He swore that his new homeland ..the country purer than his own life will never experience what was happening to moslems in hindustan.

Can anyone imagine what would have happened to Pakistan if AQ Khan hadnt developed KAHUTA? or given Pakistan a source to make 10 to 15 bombs every year? anyone?

Pakistan will strike a nuke deal with China once Mush visits Beijing in June this year.
I guess all will depend on the outcome of this visit.
