US, Pakistan NSAs meet in Washington to discuss Afghan security situation

Yes , we can't accept pro india government , but there are other ways to overhtrow them and jumping into afghanistan is certainly not the best one… we should supply Taliban if we wanna do that
What is the guarantee that Taliban, in future, will not turn against Pakistan?

.
What I predict from this is that Pakistan is putting pressure on Washington that they won't accept Civil war in Afghanistan and the connectivity part because Pakistan and Uzbekistan are building a road... Pakistan NSA meet with US NSA Yesterday.. What I understand is that the Afghan gov't is a security risk for Pakistan now while not previously and the same to China. There will also likely be pressure from Beijing to Islamabad if Kabul attempts to insert unwanted elements in the region.. This will 100% guaraante Pakistan going in Afghanistan faster than Usain Bolt militarily to eliminate Ghani's extremely weak and fragile regime. The death sentence can sometimes come from places you don't expect. A move Beijing will give standing ovation and this move has entirely nothing to do with US interests but securing it's backyard backdoor against foreign hostile elements like India. My understanding is that Pakistan has already pulled back the para-military guarding the borders and deployed regular army across the entire border and they deployed massively if the Afghan gov't doesn't take distance from such elements it will 110% end with Pakistani intervention. At the event of slightly suspicion could become the blow that broke the camels back.. Ghani is walking on a very very thin rope here

The national security advisers (NSA) of Pakistan and the United States met in the US capital on Thursday, where they discussed the "urgent need for reduction in violence and a negotiated political settlement in Afghanistan".

NSA Moeed Yusuf and his American counterpart Jake Sullivan waited till Thursday evening to confirm their meeting, posting brief tweets stating that their talks also covered other issues of mutual interest.

This was the second meeting between the two officials who first met in Geneva in March.

“Had a positive follow-up meeting with NSA Jake Sullivan today in Washington,” Yusuf said in his tweet. “Took stock of progress made since our Geneva meeting and discussed bilateral, regional and global issues of mutual interest.”

Yusuf also said that the two sides “agreed to sustain the momentum in Pak-US bilateral cooperation”.

He did not mention Afghanistan among the issues discussed in the meeting but Sullivan devoted half of his tweet to the Afghan issue.

“I met with Pakistan’s NSA today to consult on regional connectivity and security, and other areas of mutual cooperation,” he said.

I think your opinion does have solid merit. That’s exactly what’s going on. Pakistan and China wants connectivity and trade to Central Asia. Kabul regime is using excuse not to form a consensus govt. They are betting on Indian advice that they will prevail. Kabul govt is openly hostile, and despite Pakistan approach (multiple times) is neither capable nor willing to think big. Pakistan don’t have Turn On/Off switch for Taliban and it can’t afford another civil war in it’s backyard. ISI chief visit to China was the make sure Chinese are on same page before meeting with US counterparts.

Now message is being sent to Washington to arm twist Ghani into proper meaning full negotiations to form a consensus govt, or risk losing Kabul govt. Pakistan did it’s part of arm twisting Taliban, but there is limit to leverage Pakistan can exert on Taliban before risking losing it’s effectiveness. So time is running out for Ghani govt.

I don’t see PA taking over Afghanistan since there is no need for it. What could possibly happen, a covert push toward Kabul from within Afghanistan followed by a Division size contingency force taking control of Kabul (in WCS) and outskirts to facilitate transition to consensus govt.

You are overlooking what he actully said. He never said lets enter in a war with Taliban that would be suicidal and frankly speaking IEA are legit Afghani people who just want their country and there is no chance Pakistan will try to disrespect them or do things against their will and only issues here is Afghan gov't and the reason for that is due to the vile bharat this will without doubt make pakistan intercept the filth militarily and end them within weeks if necessary.. This will not be some dragged out conflict etc etc it will end immediately.. Ghani regime is very weak and standing on it's last legs basically in coma and Pakistan will by no means accept elements that is outlawed in pakistan in there that is just no no.. If I have to make a guess Pakistan will go in bomb Kabul and overrun with conventional forces secure the country than leave it to IEA.. Unfortuantely Afghan gov't commited suicide on the Pakistan sentiment because of that and not because of the statements coming out of Kabul but solely on that front they commited political suicide...

Pakistan is Dhul-Qarnain and they are keeping Gog and Magog locked in all this years and Dhul-Qarain gotta do Dhul-Qarnain job which is locking in Gog and Magog within their limited barriers and that is exactly why Pakistan's will roll in with certainity 100% there is no doubt about this
Apart from the rhetoric which I will not respond to invading another country gives legitimacy to their narrative that Pakistan is interfering with its internal politics. Do you realize how quickly US will change its narrative and blame all its failures on Pak interference. Do you realize the dirt which will be poured on by the international community on Paklands given IK is already unpopular due to his Pak first policy. Then there are the financial implications of a war. You need not be reminded that Wars have dynamics of their own. At 1 billion dollars a day will you take on a venture which could easily keep you there for 2-4 weeks if not longer. Then there is the India factor, aggravated Anti Pak activity on its soil along the 70s and eafly 80s which you may not remember but I do all too well. Then there will be the invariable rebuild of Afghanistan which ypu will not be able to duck out of.
My friend let taliban take care of Kabul or whatever and stay out of a shit hole where all you will get out of it is filth. Lastly by international norms any war zone will have all arms supplies suspended and you never know when ghey will resume. There is no mileage whatsoever in this narrative of yours and it would be suicidal for Pakistan.

They are still stuck in old ways of cajoling us and begging us for support behind the scenes and defaming us in their media.

Two faced albino snakes.

The Kabuli thugs are gone! The USA wants to mend ties with the right folks to move on…..

Battle of the QuADs.

I admire how US changed public opinion about her in Pakistan. A turnaround of less than 24 months.

Who says one needs corruption to get things done. All you need is passion and hardwork.

What? kind of mental retardation is this.. Are you even mentally capable to come to a computer.. Why would anyone sane expel our Afghan brothers.. But however you are useless and would happily have expelled you to the indian border area specifically in LOC by stripping you naked calling the Indian side to give them head-up we are handing over a terrorist who was involved in the mumbai attack and writting on your chest Laskha Taiba it would be equal to putting blood in the water for multiple sharks they will eat you like animals while I film it with a drone to be later be used as propaganda you can't splid a milk8-) They will be thinking killing someone else but they will be venting on an outcast traitor
You better watch your mouth before start spitting shit. Who the hell are youto tell me and accuse me for the rubbish and retarded remarks, keep ratardid comments within your self. This is an open forum and everybody is entitled to have his or her onion.

These are not our effing afghan brothers, these are criminals..period. If you have so much sympathy with them then move to that shit hole aka afghanistan with your afghan brothers, As long as dixk heads like you are alive within our ranks, we will never improve. Keep your shit where your mouth is.

Last but not the least..Pakistan terey baap ka hai kia jo tu expel kernay chala hai...bloody low live low bandwidth keyboard warrior.

Real translation of the tweet;

"I had to meet the Pakistani NSA as we're quickly being made irrelevant in Central Asia, too many people hate us but our commander in chief wants us to ignore Pakistan as he teaches them a lesson, whilst we have 10 taught us".

The goal should be to eliminate TTP, BLA and PTM shelters. Nothing more nothing less. We are not there to stay indefinitely or even temporarily. The hostile targets should be eliminated. I don't see anything wrong with taking out terror infrastructure aimed at Pakistan.

Even as the Taliban are making gains, the Kabul regime continues to sponsor BLA and TTP attacks inside Pakistan with the help of Hindustan. What excuse do we have now after US/NATO have left? Time has come to go after Indian and Kabuli terror assets. If the Kabul regime resorts to tit for tat use extreme force to make a point. The Afghani Indian lackeys will only do it once.

If Pakistan thinks that Indian Afghan nexus will just sit idle and not restort to terror tactics against Pakistan we are unfortunately mistaken. Chinese workers are targeted frequently. Pak soldiers are martyred frequently.

Well the US tried with MOABs and it didn't and couldn't succeed. We just need to reinforce the borders, cut the terrorist infiltration and supply lines into Pakistan and help friendly Afghans in every way.

he says is ANA not IEA what well be up against

But he doesn’t have a post ANA defeat playbook
ANA even with collapse of Kabul will not be finished , all they will do is change their uniforms. Pakistan just needs to be patient and help the right actors. We don't want to be bogged down in an unnecessary conflict and something that could end up being costly. Let's help the Afghans (in Pakistan and Afghanistan) sort their own problems out and if we don't play our cards right they could turn on us they could easily turn on Pakistan. It seems Iran is the new target and we need to start planning for the colonial war in the Persian Gulf and refocus our attention to the Terrorism from the East.
