US Orders Its Airlines To Avoid Pakistan Airspace

Maybe the US is planning a pre-emptive strike on Iran from Pakistani South-West?

Notice how Pakistani authorities are dead quiet?

. .
Basically Americans know there is going to be a war and they know Pakistanis will go hunting .....
and when we go up then nothing flies except PAF planes.

They worry we might accidentally think their plane is some Indian crap....

I lol'ed for his comment about US senators begging Pakistan to go soft. If US wanted to help India then all they need to do is stop IMF from bolstering your forex. That's it, you are done. US military budget per year is more than twice your GDP. Lol.

What is Taliban military budget? Panga kar ke dekh lo. The moment real war breaks out and the elite leave on chartered flights to Dubai, then you'll see.

Wouldn’t have normally assumed anything else, but the US under Trump basically gave India the go ahead for the failed February Balakot military strikes.

The ‘old’ US would have been far more cautious about giving the green light to one nuclear power carrying out unprovoked military strikes on another nuclear power.

Don’t trust this new US, especially the US Establishment that has its head up India’s arse in its continued tilting at windmills bid to ‘contain China’.

No American airlines lands in Pakistan.

This means they overfly at around altitude of 35,000 kms. No shoulder launched SAMs reach that height.

The news is coming from Indian source. India is a fake news factory. Before you exchange punches, look at the source of the news.

Very recently. CBC news carried a report of how Indian sources, using seemingly genuine news agency names, were found spreading fake news about Pakistan. The sources of all these fake news agencies led to one Indian businessman who was influential in BJP.

Just read the following link.

Beta they knew it that because of India they cautioned their air traffic since they knew Modi is losing grip over circumstances in Indian because of CAA and now he wants to do some drama like soor g kal strikes....but U.S knew we are armed locked and loaded teeth to nail....U.S don't want that their passenger airline come between so they sugar coated the truth and told you because of threats with in Pakistan they cautioned their airlines but in fact they knew it we are ready to f@ck IAF at any given time....

Come and be my guest just like Abhinondon....

This is precisely it. USA is actually worried India will do something stupid, as dumb terrorist and terror-sponsoring states inevitably do when they need to force their warring tribes to unite against a common perceived threat. The whole "LeT planning a cross border attack" fraud is planted to create just cause for a Hindustani adventure. To solve its internal Mughal uprising, poor pathetic Hindutva-land needs to attack external Mughals. How do these folks ever sleep at night??

The FAA reported that while, thus far, there have been no reports of air protection systems or Manpads a few extremist or terrorist groups working there are suspected of getting access.

US aviation operator FAA on Thursday cautioned America’s airlines and their pilots there is risk involved with managing flights in Pakistan airspace because of”extremist or militant activity”, according to an official record.

Exercise caution during flight operations. There’s a threat to US civil aviation working in the territory and airspace of Pakistan because of extremist/militant action,” stated the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in a notice to airmen (NOTAM) dated December 30, 2019.

The NOTAM is appropriate to pilots that are US-based and most airlines.

The US regulator stated in its NOTAM there is still a threat to US civil aviation industry from strikes against aircraft and airports in Pakistan, especially for aircraft to the ground and aircraft operating at low altitudes, such as during the arrival and departure phases of flights.

The continuing presence of extremist/militant elements working in Pakistan introduces a continuing threat to US civil air out of small-arms fire, complicated attacks against divisions, indirect guns fire, and rapid-fire flame, some of which may happen with little if any warning,” it stated.

The FAA reported that while, thus far, there have been no reports of air protection systems or Manpads a few extremist or terrorist groups working there are suspected of getting access.

As a consequence, there’s a potential danger of extremists/militants to target civil aviation in Pakistan with Manpads,” it stated.

The regulator added that pilots or pilots need to report security or security events – that could happen in Pakistan – .

Its airspace final year opened following five months of constraints for India.

Final year Adhering to the airstrikes from the Indian Air Force, Pakistan had shut its airspace on February 26.

Pakistan in October last year had refused the petition to permit Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s VVIP flight to use its airspace because of his trip issue of India.

This is a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) issue from FAA, advising all Commercial American Airmen (which is the one that under their jurisdiction) to avoid flying to and from Pakistan due to the MANPAD threat.

This does not just include Airline, leisure flyer, commercial (private plane) or cargo fliers was also included in this NOTAM as they are all Commercial Airmen. So for example, this Notice would be a reminder for Cargo/Freight company operator or Private/Commercial (like Lear Jet Pilot) that MANPAD threat are high in those area.

I am pretty sure DHL and Fedex operate to and from Pakistan, as well as some Private Charter Flight Company.
