From what I learned from other Hollywood movies:

1. Nuke Missile launch can only be ordered by President of USA

2. Then the launch codes are transmitted to the Submarine, which is cross checked by the one stored in the submarine locker which can only be opened by 2 keys..one with Captain & one with XO. The XO has to agree with Captain on the codes.

3. After that missile is launched, again by the turn of 2 keys..one with captain and another with XO.

4. Last but not the least..no women are allowed onboard submarines.

We do show corruptions, violence etc. in our government and Indian politics, BUT, after watching it we still remain PASSIVE/INDIFFERENT.
