Mr. Pompeo is trying very hard to look important---. He is supposedly a candidate running for the US presidency in the coming years---.

In truth----there was no nuclear threat at all---. One was not even considered---.

The indians did what theu did---. The pakistanis did what they did---and it all ended with Tit for Tat---.

Yes we know this ! India was threatening to launch missiles against us. Our then PM Imran Khan told them for every Indian missile we will launch 3 of ours… then Indian backed off missiles launches.. all that for Abhinandan who took plenty of time during teatime !

You missed the point. Everyone knows that Imran Khan has no real power. Bajwa and the Pak Armed Forces (incl PAF BTW) were against any retaliaiton, as confirmed by your own journalists and now Bajwa. No one cares what Imran Khan said. If Bajwa told Pompeo he was against escalation, then that's is the Pakistan policy for US, India and the rest of the world.

Pompeo may be spicing the situation a bit but he is not making it up. Indians were threatening to launch Brahmos after getting embarrassed in air battle. It was logical for Indians to conclude that Pakistan will retaliate with it’s missiles. Neither side can guarantee that incoming missiles weren’t nuclear tipped.

Hence Indian wanted to launch Brahmos but was scared sh!tless from retaliatory strike going possibly nuclear .
