The whole point of building the islands was for weapons testing. We do it in the territorial waters of the islands. Especially anti-ship missiles. Errr... are you sure you want to loiter there?

Unless you want to start a war. Remember that we have submarines that can easily destroy them. Do you want to start one? I mean if you have anti ship ballistic missiles, that means no American warships should be patrolling lets say 5000km radius to China.

Do you want to start a war? Then try and stop the island development program. The matter of fact is, island development continues with heavy emphasis on military installations as well as civilian construction.

If the US is really concerned and resolute about this, it should not simply pretend like the status quo has not changed.

The point is, we do not care what you are doing as long as our capacity build-up continues unhindered.

Quoted for truth!

Do you want to start a war? Then don't bother American warships. Like you said, pretend nothing has changed and that SCS doesn't belong to China.

Warships will be harassed as it is required.

But, at the end of the day, you won't get to your initial objective of stopping China from accelerated island genesis scheme in the SCS.

US even can stop CN to take back TW, so stopping CN in some useless disputed isls in SCS( east VN sea) is just a piece of cake.

CN should show that they have the guts to face with US in TW first .

If so, US should really stop China. Only then we can empirically say that the US has stopped China in SCS. If not empirically proven, the only remaining reality on the ground is the ever expanding islands with really complicated and advanced military/civilian installations.

This is very much like talk on nuclear proliferation. The point is to force the target nation to stop its nuclear program. As long as nuclear program goes on unhindered, tough talk and mobilizing military here and there is worthless other than wasting some aviation and maritime fuel. Because, once the target country achieves the objective (capability build-up) then, the status quo is changed forever and there is no going back.

If the US is serious, the time is now to stop China in the SCS.

How do you know it doesn't belong to China? If US planes or ships steps in our territory it's likely to be kicked away. Wtf do you think you Americans are in Asia?

The only thing you can do is maybe ram or parked in front of the warships if that defines harassing. Perhaps send aircraft to buzz it. But nowhere do you say anything about sinking them. In the end you can't stop American warships from going into SCS.

No it won't. No matter how much you say it, you can't kicked the U.S. Navy away. Americans are in Asia because we have alliance with other countries. Are you going to question about Russians in Syria? Thats what I thought.
