The U.S. mistakenly hit Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) forces predominantly led by PKK-affiliated groups in Deir ez-Zour and killed 300 militants, some media outlets reported.

According to Al-Masdar news, the Assad regime's media outlet, the U.S. air forces conducted a raid in Deir ez-Zor and unintentionally hit the SDF forces, allegedly due to wrong coordinates.

It was reported that 300 SDF members were killed by the U.S. airstrikes.

Ankara and Washington have fallen out over the People's Protection Units (YPG) issue.

While Ankara considers the YPG to be a terrorist group, Washington is opting to work with it in northern Syria.

While Washington has not changed its approach towards Ankara's calls regarding the U.S.-YPG relationship, arms and equipment transfers to the YPG has put further strain on Turkish-U.S. relations.

. . .
Its the usual propaganda, bomb Syrian military units and blame them for attacking Kurds. This time no Syrian military units were anywhere near where the supposed attack happened but the US fabricated more stories how Syrian positions attacked Kurds.

Nope I don't think so because USA cannot stay in Syria without YPG supporting them or with out area under ISIS control. Deir ez-Zour is an oil rich region and the last ISIS strong hold on Syrian eastern border. YPG being in that area gives no problem to Turkey as it is far from Turkish border. I think USA did it to make room for ISIS to retreat as Russian and SAA are on the door of Deir ez-Zour.

That's the problem YPG is not letting ISIS out of that area. Where will ISIS go from there? Iraqi forces are waiting to kill them. SAA is waiting to kill them and Russian are waiting to kill them the only way is in Kurdish controlled area. This is the same place where USA has killed 100 plus Syrian Army troops, Russian advisors and Now 300 YPG forces in past 5 days and who is not dead only ISIS in the area.

.
Gamesmanship .....killing own "Terrorist" , so that Turkey will call back it's troops and inncent Israevil can breath a easy breath.

With Russia/ Turkey both in region and Iran viewing eagerly from sidelines.

Seems like intentional move go into neutral stance

.
USA normally doesn't make this kind of mistakes ... IMO thanks to this recent event between Israel and Syria , USA just decide to sacrifice his kurd pawns to keep Turkey as neutral or potential ally if things goes wrongs ...
