How on earth anybody knows with what weapons Israel is gonna attack? Does Iran have second strike capability? What if the Israelis attack massively at the first strike itself which has a crippling effect on Iran? Remember..Israelis are hellbent in stopping Iran's nuclear program. They have done it before and possibilities are high that they'd do it again.

If Israel has the capacity to destroy Nuclear facilities with conventional arms Israel would do that much more earlier without any provocation . Moshe dagans are enough intelligent to take an action but he is aware about what Iran can do . If Israel is ready to sacrificed at least half of its population in exchange to Iranian Nuclear installations , then it can attack Iran . What weapons your Israel has other than nukes to criple Iran at first attack , If has , why they are not attacking Iran & Iran will not able to throw a missile to your Israel . Hizbuallha was deterred in 2006, and since then our border with Lebanon is peaceful more than ever before. I hope that Hizbuallah will continue to gain more victories on Israel such in 2006.

Iran's proposal is a merely for propaganda. If Iran was serious in its intentions then it would stop its own nuclear weapons programme and offer Israel full normalisation. Once Israel will enjoy peaceful relation with all the countries in the ME for a substantial period of time it can consider NWFZ in the region.
