What is a gangoo?

Well, here at PDF I would like to think not only are we entertaining but also educational. So let me give you the etymology of various terms that might befuddle the uninitiated -

Gangoo [Gang'hoo]

Term derived from prefix 'Ganga' and suffix 'Hindoo' mated together. It means the natives of the holy River Ganga and the wider river basin by that name of various mixes of aboriginal peoples that define modern India.

Gangadesh [Ganga 'desh]

Term derived from prefix 'Ganga' and suffix 'desh' mated together. It refers to the holy River Ganga and the suffix means dweller. Thus literally 'Ganga River dweller' or simply Indian.
