Well, Iranians should excercise maximum restraint now. Do not do anything stupid because Americans are not bluffing this time.

Americans have no reason to prepare for war with Iran unless the reports about Iran or its allies attacking US troops are true. The nuclear agreement addresses their concern about Iran acquiring nuclear weapons. So if they really intend to go to war with Iran, it's on behalf of their allies.

As for Iranian military capabilities, I don't know how they would perform against the US with an asymmetric warfare doctrine. Their air defense systems aren't battle proven, lots of their weapons are that way too. I question the accuracy claims of their ballistic missiles as well. However, their BM's and Cruise missiles/antiship missiles will likely work. They used some via Hezbollah and in Syria/Iraq. They also have an underground tunnel network to store and transfer ballistic missiles.

Such a tunnel system will be crucial for them as they lack useful air force. If this tunnel system is more extensive than thought, they can do a good job of protecting their military assets. Other question is how quickly can they deploy them and does this tunnel system cover the deployment aspect from region to region. If the US is seriously going to an aerial assault campaign then they likely have solutions for Iranian AA. So for Iran to perform well they need to be tipped off or do a preemptive strike against oil facilities in Gulf nations and Saudi Arabia. If they destabilize those nations it can take pressure off them and then they would just need to declare unilateral ceasefire or go through war of attrition. Then decide from there where they want to take future of their country.

That's true but they presented Trump with ground invasion plans involving up to 120K troops according to recent US reports. It's unclear if they are really willing to go to war and what the objectives of such war would be.

The after effects are what we see now in Libya & Syria...fragmented countries where different warlords govern different areas

If the USA does attack I’m not sure if the Iranian ppl will welcome them with open arms ...what we might see is a US funded militia/rebel group appear overnight and take on the state like Syria.

Syria is on fire, so is Yemen, there’s no peace in Iraq, Palestine is burning since the Jews occupied their lands.... and now it seems like Iran is next....surely we are near the end of times.

Even Egypt will not be safe from this fitna...soon yellow flags will gather on its borders and even Turkey will be occupied. Pakistan will be engaged in Ghazwa e Hind against arch rival India.

A silver lining is that the Taliban will sweep Afghanistan and I believe they will be the army with black flags along with some central Asian countries because some parts of their area also falls under the ancient region of Khorasan.

All this show of super duper bombers and fighter jets is psychological warfare and nothing else. You don't have to be a genius to know that Iranian military is no match for that of Americans.

If the war starts, Iran's will be overwhelmed, the regime will collapse and western ground forces will occupy the country. Only then, the real war will start. Americans with all their allies couldn't even win against a few thousand Taliban fighters.

It will achieve the one and only objective though, and that is, to protect Israhell. I hope Iranian commanders make plans for inflicting as much as damage as possible on Israhell and the filthy kingdom. That would be their prime objective and along the way if they can sink a ship or two, down a plane or two for Americans, that will be a bonus.
