Sir you often reminds me a poem The Rabel where he talks about cat in dog lovers group...
The Rebel :
Do you know anyone who always disagrees with you or your friends or likes to do the opposite of what everyone thinks they should do? Think of a word to describe such a person. Discuss with your partner some of the things such a person generally does. Now read the poem.
When everybody has short hair,
The rebel lets his hair grow long.
When everybody has long hair,
The rebel cuts his hair short.
When everybody talks during the lesson,
The rebel doesn’t say a word.
When nobody talks during the lesson,
The rebel creates a disturbance.
When everybody wears a uniform,
The rebel dresses in fantastic clothes.
When everybody wears fantastic clothes,
The rebel dresses soberly.
In the company of dog lovers,
The rebel expresses a preference for cats.
In the company of cat lovers,
The rebel puts in a good word for dogs.
When everybody is praising the sun,
The rebel remarks on the need for rain.
When everybody is greeting the rain,
The rebel regrets the absence of sun.
When everybody goes to the meeting,
The rebel stays at home and reads a book.
When everybody stays at home and reads a book,
The rebel goes to the meeting.
When everybody says, Yes please,
The rebel says, No thank you.
When everybody says, No thank you,
The rebel says, Yes please.
It is very good that we have rebels.
You may not find it very good to be one.

Hi,
@markhoor so here is the poem about The Rebel----talking about cats in a dog lovers group
A very interesting book that I read ' The butcher's Boy '----the butcher---an assasin adopts an orphan boy----he teaches him the tricks of the trade---says---you want to hunt---learn it from a cat---if the cat wants you to hold him---he will let you---if he wants you to catch him---he will let you---but if he don't want to you cannot catch him---now go and catch that cat---.
The 10 years old boy goes over and grabs the cat---a little rough---the cat squirms to get out---but the boy holds it tight---suddenly the cat lashed with his hind legs and digs his claws into his skin and lunges out---leaving scratches behind. That is when the boy realized how strong the cat was.
He says---now go see how the cat hunts----he moves calmly----when he targets a prey---he moves stealthily---sits motionless for a long time till the prey realizes that there is not threat and then pounces at it at a lightening speed.
On a personal note---I have always been a dog guy---till about 3 years ago I adopted a couple of cats---big cats---10-12 lbs---. I did find out how strong they are one day when I did not let one go when he wanted to leave---.
It is amazing how he goes out and catches these little birds and shows them to us.
S----what were you saying!
