Withdrawing troops is not the solution as your own generals are saying. If US is loosing war in Afghanistan, blame President Obama for it and not Pakistan.

'Sovereign soil not under government control' would also include vast parts of Afghanistan, especially Eastern Afghanistan, from where terrorist groups continue to launch cross-border raids into Pakistan to attack and kill villages/villagers and security posts/soldiers.

The US needs to control the 'sovereign soil' where its own military is deployed 'under UN mandate', before it accuses and/or attacks Pakistan for the same.

At the moment it is clear that the US Establishment is completely comfortable in both directly killing innocent men, women and children in drone attacks, as well as allowing terrorist groups to attack Pakistani soldiers and civilians out of Afghan territory its forces are deployed in to 'control'.

Complete BS - drug related violence and death far exceeds the casualties the US suffers from terrorism, but you don't see anyone arguing for 'blowing up suspected drug neighborhoods' in the quest for eliminating drug lords and dealers.
