US drone strike kills four in North Waziristan

OR this is the cheapest way for PA to eliminate terrorists. They don't have to pay for drones, infact they get US assistance for cooperation, and PA does not have to send in their people so no unpopularity and no PA losses.

This is win win for PA.

You don't have to make childish fun of PA, to get your point across.

PA has faced tribal behavior for the last 60 years. And here you are taking pot shots?

No one can defend tribal behavior and militancy within Pakistan or oversees. But the last thing we should do is take pleasure from this sad situation.

Americans want to leave this area tomorrow if not sooner. Then who is going to deal with all the mess left behind?

Afghanis? Yes you betcha. Most of the Afghanis supporting Karazahi will get the first ticket out of fing fghanistan and run to Pakistan.

Indians? Yeah till the fat lady sings and holy cows come home.

Then who is left to deal with the mess.

Pakistan Army. The very institution you are maligning at this very moment,.

PA is the last line of defense against Afghan hoards ransacking Pakistan and then heading to Indian territories.

you may laugh it now, but history clearly supports the dark future unless we wisen up.

This is time we all shared responsibility instead of jumping up and down for or against drone strikes.

Peace in Afghanistan is not American responsibly. It is the OUR responsibility.

Few things we must do right away.

1. Afghanis: You need to finalize the border with Pakistan. Doesn't matter if it was drawn by Goras or Kalas or Browns. Border is border and it is time to fix it. and make it a real border that should be monitored and protected by both Afghans and us. If a tribe lives on our side of the border, he must carry Pak ID and passport before crossing into Afghanistan. The same goes for tribes on Afghanistan border.

2. Indians. It is time to end playing games with Pakistani security. Pull the fing troops out Siachin and come back to the table for negotiated settlement. You can't go on living in fools world.

3. Pakistanis. We have the maximum to loose under current circumstances. We must settle border with Afganis and with Indians. LOC at the moment is de-facto border. Let's make it permanent. What is done, is done. Our weakest borders are on the West. we must modernize these. Biometrics and the whole shebang must be used. If Afghanis resist as they did few years ago, we must raise the issue in the UN.

It is time to get serious. Moaning about drone strike is eunuch behavior. We must quit it if we want to show the world that we are men.

peace

You better delete the word may, under circumstances they don't fly in while enjoying executive class. Whatever the ethnicity is, bottom line remains the same "through Afghanistan".

If this the case then these unfledged terrorists are too vulnerable to be chased within Afghanistan while trying to cross the border, only morons would choose a place where predators fly day and night over a vast land where there are no predators and no control of ANA/ISAF. Is it like the land of Afghanistan has become so saturated with terrorists that it has no more room whatsoever left for newbies and the warmth of putting others in trouble drags them to other places, you know the instinct? BTW I have always thought that ANA/ISAF were more than just watchful eye on cross border movements, thanks for revealing me the factual picture.

Yeah there is no remaining ground for them to live in Afghanistan.

Faujihistorian, I was not making fun of PA. I was genuinely highlighting the positives to those crying foul and victim at drone strikes. They seem to think giving a free hand to Taliban in semi sovereign areas will solve the problem, or that if PA were to (finally) send in troops, there won't be any collateral damage.

.
Dude India and Pakistan are responsible for half of Afghan problems.
We never left them alone to sort themselves. Just kept poking. Also add Iran into the mix.
If countries in South Asia were capable of fixing their problems, there would be no room for superpowers to play their games here.

You read something like this from a Pakistani member and then feel embarrassed about all the rhetoric you indulged in to respond to the posts of some stupid Pakistani fanboys .....

One word.. Good Taliban (actually 2 words) ;)

Sir, Although your point is right there is a exception in it, Good Taliban was targeted by Uncle Sam using drones, but the bad Taliban (TTP) is still safe because Pakistan could not target them using their air force.

Don'y mind but this one is the most pathetic post of the thread so far. Don't tell me you believe predators roam around whole day and when they see people carrying guns they fire a missile and since carrying arms is norm in FATA everyone carrying a gun is taken as a terrorist. Seriously do you think Drone distinguish between innocents and terrorists on the basis of a gun in hands or on shoulders and that too all the way from sky? Lol

I wonder if you have ever heard about a business called intelligence? Drone and intelligence reports go side by side, a complex procedure certainly not based on the presence of a gun.

There is certainly something quite inhuman about drones, so according to you then every drone strike is efficiently coordinated with proper intelligence provided by very reliable sources on the ground, that's good to hear. So every drone kill is a terrorist. and that not one civilian or innocent person was targeted cos his movements were suspect and he moved around in an open vehicle with a few of his buddies who have the habit of carrying weapons on them cos most men in FATA do carry guns.

Must appreciate the drone program then :tup::tup:

Oh! one more thing, I remember Obama saying that anybody carrying a gun in Pakistan's tribal areas is a potential target, Asim Aquil ran a thread on that a month or so back.
