All I'm saying is that in Azad Kashmir life is better than normal they have subsidies on bills food they now even have 3g , us is just saying to keep balance in between pak and ind it's called foreign policy even though it is complete bs

India has long stated that Kashmir is bilateral issue and should be solved between India and Pakistan.

But nahi for Pakistan hum to bhai involve karenge auro ko. Lo bhai kar lo involve. LOL. Other sides will play both sides. US and related countries need Pakistan for their own benefits but at the same time they cannot let go the Indian market.They have everything to lose in case Kashmir gets solved. Who the hell is going to buy their weapons. Chinese?

I have Kashmiris working with me in Hyderabad who love India ,but you guys still think Our side is oppressed,dont you?

There is nothing wrong with Pakistanis. It is their media and state policy to blame where every incident in India is blown out of proportion. If a muslim dies in India Pakistan media goes into mental masturbation mode to justify their creation. If they wont do it every Pakistani will start questioning their own existance.

Same goes for Kashmiris, if they will show the Kashmiries working and earning their bread much better than average Pakistani it will land all their fake hopes of opression and they being the holy liberators right at the dustbin. That is how the public opinion is created. At least within Pakistan their media and state have done a really good job in making the people see everything from religious and anti india angle.

You are absolutely right. Its made a big hubbub which speaks volume about the worth of american voice in the international community. The news was posted here this morning as well at that time reported by Hindu times and the thread was deleted bcz its purely biased reporting. They have taken the words of the us state department out of context and even added their own. The Hindu times reporting added azad Kashmir in brackets while TOI has barely given anything.

WASHINGTON: The United States categorically assured Pakistan on Tuesday that it did not support independence for Balochistan.

In an earlier statement, the US State Department shared with Dawn its general commitment to Pakistan’s territorial integrity and distanced itself from India’s effort to stir an international controversy over Balochistan.

But on Tuesday, the State Department shared another statement with Dawn, removing all ambiguities about its stance on an issue that many Pakistanis fear can be exploited to endanger the very existence of their country.

The US government respects the unity and territorial integrity of Pakistan, and we do not support independence for Balochistan,” said a State Department official in the statement shared with Dawn.

But the official also expressed US concerns about the human rights situation in the province where Pakistan is fighting a simmering insurgency by both separatists and religious extremists.

International monitors claim that both insurgents and security forces commit human rights violations in Balochistan.

“We do have concerns about the human rights situation there, and have reported that for several years in our Human Rights Report,” the State Department official said.

“However, we have consistently urged all parties in Pakistan to work out their differences peaceably and through a valid political process,” the official added.


Hundreds of people have been killed in Balochistan in attacks on sectarian and ethnic minorities while scores of people have disappeared. Sometimes, tortured bodies of those who disappear are found abandoned in remote areas.

Baloch nationalists blame the security forces for those disappearances, a charge the government rejects as incorrect and accuses the militants of kidnapping people and of killing them when they fail to get ransom.

In a speech last week, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi too talked about the situation in Balochistan and urged Indian diplomats and the media to highlight this issue.

Pakistan reacted angrily to the speech, calling it a breach of international norms and intrusion in the country’s sovereignty.

While commenting on Mr Modi’s statement, Pakistani officials and the media said that the Indian prime minister was trying to hide the atrocities committed by Indian security forces in occupied Kashmir by bracketing the situation in the valley with Balochistan, which, unlike occupied Kashmir, was not a disputed territory.

They pointed out that Kashmir was an internationally recognised issue and there were UN resolutions supporting the right of self-determination of the Kashmiri people.

But the Indian effort to internationalise the situation in Balochistan received support from the Bangladeshi government and former Afghan president Hamid Karzai.

During a visit to India earlier this week, Bangladeshi Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu said Bangladesh supported Mr Modi’s stand on Balochistan and Dhaka would soon make a policy declaration on this issue.

Mr Karzai, who was also in New Delhi this week, said that Mr Modi’s remarks should make the Pakistani government “see the gravity of the situation”.

Meanwhile, at a State Department news briefing, a journalist drew the spokesman’s attention to India’s decision to register a sedition case against Amnesty International. Indian authorities claimed that Amnesty International committed sedition when it held a seminar to highlight the fate of broken families in occupied Kashmir.

We’ve seen these reports that local police in Bangalore have initiated preliminary investigation into allegations of sedition against Amnesty International,” said Deputy Spokesman Mark Toner.

“We obviously, as we do around the world, support the right to freedom of expression and assembly, including through civil society,” he added. “We respect the right for Amnesty and others to express themselves freely.”


The official, however, urged the journalist to contact the Bangalore police for more details.

Responding to another question, the official urged both India and Pakistan to resume their dialogue for reducing tensions in South Asia.

We strongly support all efforts between India and Pakistan that can contribute to a more stable and prosperous region, and that includes meetings at any level between Indian and Pakistani officials,” Mr Toner said.

“Our longstanding position has always been that India and Pakistan stand to benefit from a normalisation of relations and practical cooperation, and so we would be encouraged that India and Pakistan continue to engage in direct dialogue aimed at reducing tensions,” he said.

The US will officially never support any independence movement in Pakistan nor it ever did. Considering most of NATO supplies come through Pakistan and the constant attempts of Pakistan trying to leave the american sphere, the US will not antagonize Pakistan on this issue considering it gains absolutely nothing from it.

Its stance on Kashmir and balochistan has not changed officially. In Kashmir it wants both parties Pakistan and India to talk together and in balochistan it supports the territorial integrity of Pakistan..


However that being said US has no say in the matter nor is it required.. Baluchistan terrorists have been hunted down and the insurgency is near death with a thousand having surrendered. The people of Baluchistan want development and that is exactly what we need to provide. The current Baluchistan govt is far from perfect but it is doing better than previous govts and is initiating various processes.

Those that are sitting in Sweden or uk or Canada can barely get ten men together and can only bark and thank modi.

Baluchistan is going nowhere and the northern areas enjoy peace and only seek greater integration with Pakistan aka the GB call for province. India can never take these areas away from Pakistan as war is highly unrealistic due to the mass expenditure and nuclear probability of both nations as well as the world condemns imperialistic designs. Those that give examples of Bangladesh need to learn geography, history, politics as well as military studies and clearly they lack understanding of both events and maturity.

Anyhow if it helps them sleep better.

Listen I have fakin relatives all over bloody ak aight originally we moved to azad area after Hindu oppressed us in rajal iok there is not a single place where they are being suppressed like literally my immediate family member are busy as engineers making bridges roads and in mirpur you can get British soft drinks and god damn there is nothing going on there in Baluchistan we are killing terrorists but there are not even any terrorists in ak WHAT THE F***

The message to pakistan is very simple. Take the following steps

  1. Stop everything what we accuse you off. And let us stop whatever you accuse us off. Whatever if it exists
  2. Stop involving irrelevant third parties.
  3. Come on the negotiation table bilaterally. No third party.
  4. Now here is tricky part. You want kashmir. Ok good. Thumbs up. What then what you have to offer in return? Offer us something as good as that will help let go Kashmir, If not why would we leave Kashmir for you? Give you clear silk route, give you taps for your water. You want it for free. we also know very well you dont give a sh!t about kashmirs except it gives you a moral high ground.
  5. if point three fails go back to 1 and continue the BS. Keep blaming each other nothing is going to solve.
