Considering that pre- 9/11 the ISI had worked very hard and almost succeded in making the Afghan Taliban state dependent on us and had massive infuence on their leadership, and was essentially focused on the greater strategic goal of "Koh kaaf" (which I will leave only for the more astute of mind to understand); we were not going to abandon those assets because the US was essentially invading our "ally" whom we were betraying out of the need to ensure our survival. Yet, since then we continued to ensure that the Afghan Taliban arent totally defeated since we need them to ensure that the very pro-Indian NA doesnt take over and create two fronts for us to fight on as they have currently.

As such I did nothing more than that. Now can we get on like brothers please. We do have a responsibility to project a balanced view point and a narrative which would be acceptable to all parties who view the board. I hope that our endeavour will help in creating a balanced view of a narrative which Pakistan should project.

trust me intention was not to get into fight with you or Oscar , because you guys are Awesome posters here, and knowledge is pretty high .. but its just i see things happening in Pakistan and its like we are stuck ..
i have mentioned many times, that those F-16 coming for Free , i have no problem with it, at least they will add something to our existing fleet anyway . or any follow up order of 10 more will complete a sqs . but i just wanted to learn that where we are standing when it comes to move ahead, and become at least in a position where sanctions wont make us completely helpless . like JF , we have 58% manufacturing rights , we export many stuff, but things might get different in next decade, so if by 2025 we are building 80% of JF its still a win ..
