it seems 40N6E have a range of 400km and altitude of 185km and have a max speed of 12Mach and a max target velocity of 14 mach.
lower grade 48N6DM/48N6E3 have a range of 250km altitude of 60km max speed of 6mach and a max target velocity of 14mach
even lower grade 48N6E2 have a range of 200km altitude of 60km max speed of 6mach and a max target velocity of 8mach

MIM-104 have a flight altitude of 24km and range of 160km (PAC-3 MSE have range of 35km against ballistic missiles) and a max speed of 4.1mach

so can you tell me why it's not comparable to Thaad and how S-400 is not superior to PAC-3 ?

That should answer the question for you a boat load of 12 per launcher which can engage up to 6 theater ballistic missiles with one 4 canister load out but of course isn't dedicated to ABM compared to the THAAD which outperforms the S-400 in ABM but to answer your question the S-400 can engage farther range Ballistic missiles such as MRBM and IRBM Ballistic missiles (range up to 3,500 km) while the Patriot can only defend against Tactical ballistic missiles.

You're not getting F-35s unless I'm mistaken Trump signed a bill which said no F-35s for Turkey cause you were in bed with Russia, his thoughts not mine.

S400 can and never be good as a PAC3 missile, it can have greater range and altitude but the PAC3 missile have the abilities hit a missile kinetic.

Because of this PAC3 is the best cheap ABM system. S400 and all the others ABM capebalities are to be doubt.

We go for S-400. Period. US missed the train. Meanwhile our own systems will mature enough. S-400 or Patriot etc. is just for gap filling.

With this deal US shows it didnt miss the train, or got another one heading to the same destination.

You do realize buying the S-400 is bad for Turkey, more sanctions will be slapped on them because of an act signed by the U.S. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Countering_America's_Adversaries_Through_Sanctions_Act.

Dont bluff. Turkey is in NATO so US most likely wouldn't put any serious sanctions on Turkey, a fellow NATO member
