int_trade_0703.jpg

I never understand how some pakistanis here manage to live in their delusional world.

When the routes were closed, they were shouting, keep the routes closed. Nato is damaging our roads and spying on us. They are letting India have a free hand in afghanistan.

Now when the routes are open, the same people are shouting, yes keep the routes open, let our relations with US improve. Let the Indians burn.

We all want taliban to be kicked out by US and we appreciate all the help that pakistan is providing to help US (therefore us) achieve their goals. Thank you very much for helping us even at your own expense.

NATO Supply routes are issue between Pakistan & US, i don't understand why an indian would have free nose poking in this issue. Any news article or any related thread indians are poking their nose.

You are not doing favour to any one, you want some presense in Afghanistan to create unstability in Pakistan, hence you showed the world that you care for Afghanistan.

And don't drag further offtopics or i won't hesitate to report your posts.

First of all, don't threaten me with reporting my posts. Report directly. I will not take your BS for anything.

Secondly, do u have any proof that India wants to de-stabilize afghanistan?

India as both strategic and economic interest in Afghanistan.
and list goes on........(hope someone can fill it)
Strageic -
1. They want India friendly govt. in Afghanistan to keep Pakistan on toes at their eastern front too, if relations get sour.
2. Decrease and nullify the effect and presence of China's growing influence in this region. They are also economic competition

Economic-
1. Access to CAR countries via Iran, Afghanistan. for their energy resources.
2. To access Aghanistan's own resources and we want it fast as China is doing it better than us as it has more money and say in WB, IMF. which Afghanistan needs for its development. (They have already acquired Aynak copper mine, one of the largest), India has got 3 out of 4 mines of iron ore.
and list goes on..........
This is completely off-topic so i hope I wont pursue this matter in this thread anymore.

@Topic
What's the status of what type of supplies will be allowed?. If military supplies are not allowed, how are they suppose to get their, lets say, bullets.?
Any indication of formal press release by Hilary herself or we are done with this phone conversation?

So drone attacks are also part of your principles?

Pakistan finally came out of the dilemma with pride, The US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton called Pakistan's foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar and told her that the U.S. is sorry for the losses suffered by the Pakistani military.

As per news, Hilary held a telephonic conversation with Pakistani Foreign Minister and apologized for the Salala Attack mistake

"I offered our sincere condolences to the families of the Pakistani soldiers who lost their lives," Mrs Clinton said.

"Foreign Minister Khar and I acknowledged the mistakes that resulted in the loss of Pakistani military lives.

"We are sorry for the losses suffered by the Pakistani military. We are committed to working closely with Pakistan and Afghanistan to prevent this from ever happening again"

It is not about words, it is not about that we have scored some cheap points or this have comforted our ego that US have apologized to us.
No, it was about Principles and it is great that we stood firm by our principles even in strongest of international pressure.

:pakistan:

The US, on numerous occasions expressed regret over the incident, but did not offer a clear apology as demanded by Pakistan. ISAF Commander General Allen had also offered a “personal apology” to Pakistan army chief.

Why should we shed tears. We want Pakistan to remain in American influence.
This is big news for us.

Good, an apology was long overdue.

It's hilarious to see the change in tone of many Indian posters. First it was along the lines of oh the US will never apologise to Pakistan and you have to lump it and now its the US apology is great for us.
