casual, sir. Do you really not understand why the USA supports Israel? How many Congressmen, Senators or Presidents have ever been elected who say, publicly, that they do not support Israel? If an American politician is judged to be insufficiently supportive of Israel, then the American media, both the journalistic and the entertainment branches, go berserk until that politician is destroyed. We support Israel because our media tells us, 24/7/365, we have to to prevent another holocaust, which would be OUR FAULT and because Israel is the ONLY democracy and our ONLY ally in the middle east.

Though i prety much agree with the fact that Israeli lobby and the stuff like J Street & AIPAC, and all those guys beating up the haolocost mantra to get things done for Israel. But i think Israel isnt your only friend in ME, The arabs prety much support US. However All jews will not be eliminated if US stops there support But Israel will.The only viable Option for US to support israel is they have very cordial Millitary , Intelligence ties, and those ties are strengthened due to the Notion that Israel cant survive without US.If Israel falls the both Europe and US would have to bear a large influx of Jews as it once beared in the past.The support of Israel however largely comes from the established Businesses held by some influential Jews who are there true financiers. The Jews living all over the world consider Israel as there mother nation and hence are willing to support its cause vigorously.

The only thing US can get out of Israel is , they have there bully in ME to help them out, But this wont last long as once democracy and rule of law kick in those Totalitarian Regimes. The process has already begun from Egyption rev to the unrest in the multiple places inside ME.

The people that dwell in piece of desert are human beings like the rest of the world. Its not just a
Muslim problem, it’s a human tragedy. Just like holocaust was not just a Jewish tragedy but a human one. In Korean war Americans killed about 3.5 million people mainly through carpet bombing. USA can hardly claim to be a champion of morality.
dispute resolution between two parties can never be fair when one is very weak and occupied and another one is very strong and laughs at the face of all talk of UN charter & human rights.. what’s more when the arbitrator is itself slave to blackmailing of group that ensures that Israel enjoys the unqualified & unconditional support no matter what.

This Obama guy is a sham, he accepts Nobel prize for peace (haha joke of the century) on one hand & then supports a regime that breaks all international laws blatantly. at least President Bush was honest & called UN irrelevant when he decided to invade Iraq.
