Naavik - e - Neem Kash = Half drawn arrow in bow ( Naavik = arrow , neem kash ( half drawn) )

Charah Gar = Remedial, one who solves your problem, Benefactor

Naveed = Khuskhabri

Kaj = crooked Jabee = forehead Crooked forehead = dhokay baaz

Kush-tini (or Kishtini ? ) = Deserve to be killed

Guf-teeni = Worth mentioning, deserve to be mentioned

Koh e girah = large and hard mountain

Ghazal sung in extremely beautiful voice of Mahdi hassan !

نہ گنواؤ ناوک نیم کش دل ریزہ ریزہ گنوا دیا

Koh-e-Geran = Heavy mountain

Indeed, and Fareeda Khanum has also sung very well but in my humble opinion, Iqbal Bano has immortalized this ghazal. This is partly (only partly) due to the music composition (selection of notes (sur), melody (raag), modes (thaat) etc.) which appears better compared to the compositions sung by Mehdi Hassan and Fareeda Khanum.
