Roads of Chandigarh and New Delhi can't be compared to other in South Asia, they are almost impeccable
Chandigarh has always been and New delhi due to CWG.
No offense,its my view.

Some pictures would be welcome.

Ooh, i though the board showed "National Park"??
NO??
There is a hell lot of difference between National Parks and Urban Parks.
:pdf:

Firslty i can only laugh at your logic, instead of posting some nice pictures of India your questioning the semantics of calling what is for all intensive purposes a urban park a national park and then getting happy about it...

It falls within the urban zone, it is maintained partly by the capital development authority... It's called a national park but indeed it is Urban, please next time put your brain in gear before your mouth is in motion.

Now don't tell me that the National Park represents the urbanity of your nation/state?
Does it?

Mate, for the love of god... In Pakistan is a trend to call parks national parks, it usually means that these parks are maintained either by the army heritage trust or the municipal government as opposed to private parks.

Ayub National Park: Its in a residential colony in Rawalpindi

Jinnah National park, again in the municipality of Rawalpindi but called a "national" park:

So tell me! Are these not urban parks?

Only Islamabad is a planned city!!!!!!!
In other cities roads are wide because when cities like Lahore and Karachi were expanded lot of space was available for such wide roads since their was no population their.... And now old cities of Lahore and Karachi constitute only small protion of whole Lahore and Karachi.

Also many small cities like Murree are having really good roads(not wide though) because they are intended to be tourism centers.

Well nice to hear that, here too certain cities are well planned but in certain places they are not. Also the Traffic problem is increasing as more and more people are opting for personal transportation rather than public one. In our Hyderabad some 15 yrs back there wasn't much traffic it was like a sleepy town, but within a decade (mainly due to IT revolution) population increased and the traffic and now it is a nightmare u know. Any hyderabadi would attest to this for sure :smokin:
