Uproar over Thanksgiving candies as Chinese university says it does not promote 'Western holidays with religious connotations'

I can't comment on dowries because I know little about it.
Ah well at nobody is saying something ridiculous like
"U.S Pakistani sheep populace celebrating Thanksgiving saying "God is Great" without really knowing its history of Native American genocide middle east violence"

Don't twist what I am saying dude. Again you don't know what you sayin.
We say Allah akbar when we win lottery. We say Allah Akbar when a child is born/injured. We can say Allah Akbar on our first night too if we want. Incidentally, we say this when at war as well

Only whities get their panties in a bunch over this.

Telling you US agencies need better bots.

Put thanksgiving aside, I appreciate religion-free schools and workplaces. Actually, the secular attitude of the government is not from CCP but from the Chinese general public. The CCP government just reinforced it. "To give one's self earnestly to the duties due to men, and, while respecting spiritual beings, to keep aloof from them." is the general attitude of people throughout history. That's why the homegrown religion Taoism looks lame (somehow religion-less) compare to other religions. I appreciate there's no one advocate any religious belief to me during my early ages because I know how hard it can be for an average person to "think out of the box". If you got into religion at an early age you probably would stick to it for your life. I think religion captures some human nature so it can't be removed from society even if someone really wants to. That's why there're several movements of suppression of Buddhism in Chinese history but it still exists today. I think a certain amount of the population of each society just needs some form of God-driven belief as their inner sustenance. They will find religion when they need one. There's no need to promote it in schools in the 21st century.
