What's new

Upcoming Pakistani Satellites

As Pakistan is really short of money but has some technology there. So I think that Pakistan should bring Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain to invest and become a partner in two types of Satellites Network system which would be jointly developed:

Global Positioning Satellites Network
Communication Satellites Network

So that we can provide GPS as well as communication services to commercial as well as Militaries of different friendly countries and for the development we can easily take help from EU and Japanese/Korean and Chinese experts.

Also we can develop our very own Satellites launching platforms too.

What will be the role and what kind of expertise can Pakistan bring to such a JV?

You ve a SLV project,right?
@SUPARCO @DESERT FIGHTER @AhaseebA

What he said is some what true..stop attacking him an his nationality

The reason I asked that question is,some one here said Pakistan has infrastructure to manufacture its own satellites now.

And dont worry,Delusional Indians are now building satellites for European customers & Moon and Mars probes ;)

Actually Pakistan is short of money and JV will bring that and GCC will going to learn a lot and gain some outer space technology too.:pakistan:

But we are hoping to see our own satellite assembly plant as well as some 3 types of launching platforms too which can be able to carry three different sizes of satellites.

We did have one but it was halted in 2011. It will be on hold until economy improves or some serious need arises.

but pakistan should have launching capability right? considering the fact that you have those rockets. Satellites can be built by others and launched by you.

Just read this thread and here as an Indian, congratulations to Pakistan on the developments.
Applause. Small steps will lead to bigger leaps.

(And no, I don't have hidden daggers behind my back :) :) :)
