India was never secular, the word 'secular' was added to Indian preamble only in 1976 by the congress for their vote bank politics. Because sangh was giving it a tough time. Indian constitution was secular in spirit that was derived from Hindu ethos. Indian constitution framers didn't take muslim aspirations into account at all. If you read the discussions in constituent assembly at the time, entire constitution was matched to the Hindu principles. Members of constituent assembly quoted Hindu scriptures for justification of a law, not Quran not Bible. Today we have likes of you who wants to dilute the Hinduness of the constitution for god knows why.
Also they explicit asked the future governments to work towards UCC through the directive principles. And today we have that idiot
@Shantanu_Left threatening blood bath in streets for wanting to implement our constitution makers vision.
I want the true secularism in India ie., 'one for all' and not 'each for their own'. India first, religion second. People like Shantanu are dime a dozen on the streets. He could only bark on the internet but in reality he would run with his tail in his butt cheeks.
