Very useful.

WTF?

So the question arises...

Were those ROGUE INDIANS being handled by / under the influence of ANOTHER Intelligence agency or THEY were on their OWN?

Whole damn racket needs to be busted...Whole Ring !!!

This is NOT a bloody joke.
Agreed.

No loss of life.

Just a joke.

This IS a fan-girl thread.

Then where the hell did OP get this "breaking news" from?
Don't you get it? He thought it up.

There is no source.

Yes.

The infected area has now exceeded 200,000 sq. kms.

Yes, launched from an air base owned by the Indian Army, that has taken it on lease for 99 years.

There is no source. As of now. Just a troll.
That's why I asked you before too. Just chill go sleep tight! Let'have fun in our forum for a moment plz 😜. Even if that news is unverified but it's too good to be ignored.

And if it's fake then no problem we would still find some shady link to it as Indians mostly do. 😉😄😄

Source Link: What we know about the incident from the Indian media.

Excerpts of the Report:
The unarmed BrahMos supersonic missile — a practice version — that was launched into Pakistani territory Wednesday, is understood to have been accidentally fired during an inspection at a secret satellite base of the Indian Air Force (IAF).

Sources in the defence and security establishment told ThePrint that — contrary to Pakistan’s claims of the missile suddenly veering off from its flight path to Rajasthan’s Mahajan Field Firing Range from Haryana’s Sirsa and heading towards its territory — it followed the trajectory that it would have in case of a conflict, but “certain factors” played a role in ensuring that any pre-fed target was out of danger.

Such trials don’t take place, as all trials are held on the eastern flank and from the Andaman and Nicobar Command,”

Sources said that an inspection and protocol revision was being carried out at a secret satellite base, not Sirsa.

Sources also said that the missile followed the correct trajectory and also ruled out speculation about the launch being part of an actual firing test.

a statement by the Ministry of Defence Friday said, “The Government of India has taken a serious view and ordered a high-level court of enquiry”.
The statement also said that the missile had entered Pakistan from India Wednesday due to “accidental firing” caused by “a technical malfunction” in the “course of routine maintenance”.

most Important points, must be noted
while noting that the missile system has several mechanical and software safety mechanisms to prevent any kind of accidental firing.

They said that the missile has multiple geo-locations of targets fed into the system, which need to be selected or new ones added.

Then there are multiple steps of clearance, including the entry of certain codes before the countdown starts, after which the missile goes into auto mode, sources said.

The Highlighted parts shows contradictions in their narrative feed to indian Media, I am mentioning some of these contradictions below

- If It was a "Practice Version" of Brahmos Missile as CLAIMED in above in Indian media report, then it must not had the coordinates of a Target in Pakistan but the coordinates of the Area Designated as Practice Target inside India.

- The "Practice Version" of missile (as per Indian claim) should not be at the "secrete satellite base" in Western Fronts of India but at the Eastern Theater of India as Trials, Test and Practice launches are done in Andaman and Nicobar region.

- The presence of coordinates of a Target in Pakistan and as per their own acceptance "Missile followed the trajectory that it would have in case of a conflict" this mean it was an Operational Missile deployed to target Pakistan in case of war, only thing missing was the War Head.

- Launch of Missile itself indicate the Failure of Safeguards (IF there were any) in place to prevent unauthorised launch.

- Now the question is: When India claim that there were many Mechanical and Software base safety mechanism in place then how all of these failed together without alarming Indian Nuclear and Missile Command & Control ?

- How the Operators manage to Launch the missiles without the Clearances from higher ups ... ??

- If as claimed by India that Inspection and Protocol Revision was being carried than it mean whole the chain of the authorization for the launch of missile was being under review, so either that chain unanimously decided to use this as opportunity to launch the missile against Pakistan in a Classic Dilemma of "Use It or Lose It scenario" in this case whole chain incharge of this missile Battery is responsible

- OR whole Chains of Launch authorization, Codes & Passwords, Launch Sequences were compromised to some outsider who might not be the part of Chain of authorization and Launch

- In any of the cases stated above it was an UNAUTHORISED LAUNCH of Brahmos missile which mean either the whole Chain of Authorization and Launch gone Rogue or Rogue elements gain access to highly sensitive circles and assets of Indian State, both of these are horrible thing for the stability of South Asian region

In any case this Incident has destabilize the region to unimaginable level.

OK, if that's your take on it, have fun.

Pakistan needs to make a diplomatic push to highlight the poor controls on the Indian side. What if those were nuclear armed? Will EU and USA sell weapons to a nuclear armed state with poor controls on its munitions. This could start WW3 and risk to them as well. These needs to vocalized at the highest levels.
Imagine if the RSS have infiltrated one of the Indian Navy Nuke subs purchased from Russia.

Whoever fired the missile into Pakistan has done us a big favour as it has opened the eyes of Pakistan armed forces to the short falls in our strategic deterrence forces and that a nuclear attack is a real possibility beyond the text books and defense papers, something we need to take extremely seriously and prepare a response to from attack across our borders and beyond. We have 10 minutes to detect and destroy incoming nukes and fire a counter strike. The whole unconventional weapons programme must be reviewed so that our enemies are fully aware it will be a colossal mistake to go nuclear with Pakistan.

How am I advocating for India? I'm just saying that the notion that Hindu radicals have somehow infiltrated and gained access to missile and nuke launchers is complete BS. They wouldn't have fired an empty shell and would have aimed at a civilian populated area or airliner if they really wanted to do some damage. War is the last thing either countries want.
Na na na na. Ghalat bat nhi krny ka. Modi is Indian PM who was banned in US for mass killing of Muslims right under his nose as a CM. We never had our PM or CM like Hafiz Saeed for example. Your whole notion stands baseless as Hindu extremists are already in control of highest corridors of power there. So either reveal your true identity and affiliation or at least don't talk bull 💩 here. Ok

It's a matter of serious concerns. First they crossed the waters with their submarine, now they fired the missile. It's about checking enemy's defense capabilities. Pakistan should not take these incidents as accidents. Pakistan needs to seriously evaluate its defense posturing. The game is all about the postures.

Yes - it is a big IF since it is off one person’s post.
However, the other plausible explanation provided by @kursed also stands
Sir-ji, do you expect me on a Pakistani site to explore the possibilities? As it is, there is so much infantile jumping up and down. There are so many frightful questions that arise out of this incident. The fact that the missile was launched is in itself a sufficiently fearful thing. What embellishment is needed, and how can things be worse?

As far as I am concerned, unless there is an honest enquiry by the IAF, or by an independent fact-finding committee (preferable), we know only that a lethal weapon with a potential 200 kg HE warhead was fired, not in the safe conditions of a firing range, with suitable safeguards, in such a manner that it flew into inhabited territory in a neighbouring country with nuclear capabilities.

How it got launched, why it was not destroyed in flight, what information was passed on, at what time interval, to the other side to inform them clearly and lucidly, when were the higher echelons of the service informed and what did they do, when was the civilian supervisory mechanism informed and what did they do ... all these are questions that every responsible citizen of the two countries involved must want to know. The respective military staff must NEED to know, at a more urgent level.

Finally comes the question of safeguards for the future.

I submit respectfully to you, unless this finds you in a frivolous mood, that the canard about rogue elements in the military is a duck that deserves to die a slow lingering death, UNTIL evidence turns up that needs serious and further investigation.

This is a possibility that liberal Indians opposed to the reckless posturing of the present government really do not want to take at a superficial level. It is not a possibility that benefits from a relatively uninformed discussion.
