Unveiling ceremony of 8 dual seat JF-17 Thunder Jets held at PAC Kamra

May June July August September October November December. That is unbelievable, in 7~ months to achieve this is indeed remarkable.

That is NOT the same thing! Those aircraft used piston engines and their body could be mass produced easily. These modern jets and mass produced piston planes in ww2 is a bad comparison!
Still very slow for a state like Pakistan that's surrounded by dogs. It should've been like 100/year or more

people have extremely high expectations yet if they can be grateful for the feat achieved that would be wonderful. Let's not bring negativity into everything. If we achieve 100 a year then complaints will be why not 200 a year.

.
excellent work but this was originally thought out to be most produced bird in the inventory and by the looks of things now it is hardly achieving second objective of being widely available though first objective to self reliance has been achieved to certain degree.

haha what are you guys gonna do with 100+ fighters per year? There is no one buying the jets in large numbers except PAF. Should Kamrah invest billions in making new assembly lines just so that PAF could buy 50 more aircraft?

USA had to produce 400/year F-16s because the fighter was not only bought by the USAF(1250 aircraft!) but her allies all over the world.

We on the other hand will be fulfilling orders of 5-10 aircraft from 3rd world countries.

.
I hope these new fighters have AESA radars under the hood. Integration of AESA radars with block 3 should have completed by now so same knowledge can be transferred to dual seat models.

.
If they were able to produce those piston engine planes in thousands every month in 1940's when we couldn't even produce that many slippers in the same time, trust me if they need to, they will do even better now with so much advancement in production technology.

300,000 planes
By the end of the war US factories had produced 300,000 planes, and by 1944 had produced two-thirds of the Allied military equipment used in the war — bringing military forces into play in North and South America, the Caribbean, the Atlantic, Western Europe and the Pacific.

Money making Military Industrial Complex with vested instersts. We should not disgrace ourselves by comparing our goals and capabilities with them. Their designs require them to produce such equipment.
Our mission statement is totally opposite to theirs as Iqbal said

ابلیس کو یورپ کی مشینوں کا سہارا

PAC can produce aircrafts at the pace greater than our thoughts but it is a whole system. The up-gradation of pilots, absorption of aircraft in new squadrons, infrastructure building and most important is requirement..

. . .
Though I hate this aircraft for many reasons... but.... that's what happened when you're independent... 9 months 9 aircrafts
