Unveiling ceremony of 8 dual seat JF-17 Thunder Jets held at PAC Kamra

.
What radar do these 8 war birds carry? AESA? if so then you can certain that these are our growlers and not mere conversion trainers. 8-)

. . . . .
IN 9 MONTH 9 AIRCRAFTS

I do hope and pray to Allah, these productions have not been rushed and quality has not been sacrificed in any way whatsoever.

Pakistan does need to retire around 300 light-weight F-7s and Mirages III/5 with the JF-17 Thunders as quickly as possible but the high speed acquisition must not come at the cost of quality otherwise it'll be pointless.

That is where you are wrong friend. you need to always have a minimal R&D ongoing for next level threats and countermeasures. It is not a cinema show.

I'm not saying it's how it should be more that this is how I perceive it to be in reality

You are of course right, but we are not a rich nation and I think they prioritise projects on a most needed basis

ok guys count the tyres in the "apparent" 8 line up, its not 8 its actually 10

I count 10 front tyres

also I count 8 x yellow and 2 x grey

I conclude that since 2P-71 was yellow means 2P-72 is also yellow so 8 x yellow primer built in last 5 months at PAC

2 x Grey are the 19-603 and 19-604

plus 2 more from China for ground and flight testing gives 12 x JF17B off course we have Burmas order too

so total PAC built for PAF is 122 units

so 2019 was 8 x JF17B and 2018 was 12 x JF17A Block II

for 2020 I see

14 x JF17B + 2 x JF17A Block III

Jumu'ah Mubarrak to all.

Confirmed. 2P-65 B is a dual seater and the first of 2019.

This would imply Pakistan has 64 single seat Block-2s.

definitely no only 12 built in 2018 last one was 2P-62 not 14

2P-63B and 2P-64B are 19-603 and 19-604

then starts 2P-65B onwards with 2P-68B marked as "4th"

so 62 x Block II

Do you have any photos of 2P-63/B an 2P-64/B?

so 62 x Block II

We had learned all Block-Is will be upgraded to Block-II standards. Is that also happening at the same time or is PAC focussed towards new production only? If upgrading is done then we will have 122 Block-IIs (A/B) configuration and no block-I left.

That is another level of technology, how many trucks you see that drive around with an aircraft on their back.

Let me get back to you on that have to ask my ISI Section S crew. Lol

1) I think the Mirages should be given to Naval Air Arm to be independent and conduct their own OPs as needed.

2) I second that motion should from looks of things I think quality is well maintained.

.
guys can someone talk about the split of role between the pilot and the weapons officer in combat.. ?? and any new feature jn JF17B dual not in regular single seater block 2?
