And they think that BD should have been part of Pakistan and think that BD was born through AL-India conspiracy. So their opinions are taken suspiciously and perceived as anti national, though they can pretend to wish good. But they have taken a position in BD in the name of nationalism. And using Bangladesh's flag, citizenship etc. Also their worth in BD is they say they fought for BD's independence and announced the independence first. Can you see any conflicting ideology in them? রিমান্ডে থাকা ফাহিম 'বন্দুকযুদ্ধে' নিহত

মাদারীপুরের কলেজশিক্ষক রিপন চক্রবর্তীকে হত্যাচেষ্টার ঘটনায় দায়ের মামলায় রিমান্ডে থাকা গোলাম ফায়জুল্লাহ ফাহিম (১৯) পুলিশের সঙ্গে 'বন্দুকযুদ্ধে' নিহত হয়েছেন।

শুক্রবার দিনগত রাতে মাদারীপুর সদরে এ বন্দুকযুদ্ধ হয়।

মাদারীপুরের পুলিশ সুপার সারওয়ার হোসেন যুগান্তরকে বলেন, রাতে আটক ফাহিমের দেয়া তথ্যে তাকে নিয়ে অভিযানে যায় পুলিশ। এ সময় তার সহযোগীরা পুলিশের ওপর হামলা করে। পুলিশও পাল্টা গুলি চালালে ফাহিম নিহত হন। এ সময় সেখান থেকে অস্ত্র ও গুলি উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে।

এর আগে গতকাল শুক্রবার মাদারীপুরের চিফ জুডিশিয়াল ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট আদালত ফাহিমের ১০ দিনের রিমান্ড মঞ্জুর করেন।

তাকে হাজির করে হত্যাচেষ্টা মামলার তদন্ত কর্মকর্তা ও সদর থানার এসআই বারিউল ইসলাম ১৫ দিনের রিমান্ড আবেদন করেন। শুনানি শেষে বিচারক ১০ দিনের রিমান্ড মঞ্জুর করেন।

গত বৃহস্পতিবার রাতে শিক্ষক রিপন চক্রবর্তীকে হত্যাচেষ্টার ঘটনায় ফাহিমসহ ৬ জনের নাম উল্লেখ করে ও অজ্ঞাতনামা আরও কয়েকজনকে আসামি করে মামলা করেন সদর থানার এসআই আইয়ুব আলী।

তিনি জানান, ঘটনার সময় আটক ফাহিমকে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করে পাওয়া আরও পাঁচজনের নাম উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে মামলায়। তারা হলেন- সালমান তাসকিন, শাহরিয়ার হাসান, জাহিন, রায়হান ও মেজবাহ।

সদর থানার ওসি জিয়াউল মোর্শেদ জানান, গ্রেফতার ফাহিমের কাছ থেকে নিষিদ্ধ ঘোষিত বিভিন্ন সংগঠনের সঙ্গে সম্পৃক্ততার বিষয় জানা গেছে।

উল্লেখ্য, মাদারীপুরের সরকারি নাজিমউদ্দিন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় কলেজের গণিত বিভাগের প্রভাষক রিপন চক্রবর্তী কলেজগেট সংলগ্ন ভাড়া বাসার একটি ছোট কক্ষে একা থাকতেন।

গত বুধবার দুপুরে কলেজ থেকে ফিরে বাসায় ঢোকার সময় বিকাল সাড়ে ৪টার দিকে ৩ যুবক তাকে চাপাতি দিয়ে কুপিয়ে আহত করে দ্রুত পালিয়ে যাওয়ার চেষ্টা করে।

শিক্ষকের চিৎকারে কলেজগেট এলাকার লোকজন দ্রুত এগিয়ে এসে ফাহিমকে আটক করে। পরে তাকে পুলিশের হাতে তুলে দেয়া হয়।

They are and he is very much Bangladeshi by heart and soul and never denied Independence of BD and never wished for unification with Pakistan.

Bangladesh was a product of BD/Indian convergence of interest. There is nothing wrong with stating that as it is true.

In a country of 170m there will be plurality of thought. Try to live and let live.

I am unaware of anyone wishing to roll back the years and recreate a twin winged Pakistan. However the Islamic identity that gave to Pakistan remains relevant. BAL assault on that identity has to be fought. There needs to be plurality of thought and ideas.... That includes position you personally find objectionable. That's the sign of a maturity.

I am a proponent of secularism and believe that the government of a nation must have neutral of religious dogma. However that does not mean the soul of the country formed primarily of Islamic identity need to be erased. There is ample space for accommodation and constructive debate. An opposing view is not an assault on your worldview. As I said live and let live. Calling ppl Pakistani or Isi agent does not kill the conversation, it only muddies the water unnecessarily.

Never said I support BAL. My view is aligned with gov (Hope you understand the difference between supporting gov and supporting party). And anti BNP/JeI. And never said ppl are anti BD if someone takes anti BAL position. Quote me back if Im bashing someone for his anti BAL position. If valid points are made no problems but cant live with hypocrite and liars. Its a moral position. BNP in the past silenced opposition views on gun points and bombs, so they shouldnt expect much decency in reality. BNP's nationalism is based on killing AL and they are proud of it. So both cant co exist in BD. They are living on poles apart. One has to go. Or a better solution is to get rid of 75's power grabbing beneficiaries. That makes Zia family the target. If BNP can get rid of Zia family, only that way all parties can sit together. Can expect BNP wont run out of leadership if they get rid of unwanted elements.

Jamaat as alliance of BNP, there is no way to think they are different but should be considered they are talking for one another. People talked in this very forum about many weird things how they will kill AL and anti independence posts etc. Your sweet talks maybe start but not hold much value in present scenario of BD. Though I dont see problems if pro independence people make their points of Islamic identity.

সেসকল মামলার সুত্র ধরেই ১৯৭৫ সালের ১৪ ই আগস্ট শেখ মুজিবকে আমরা গ্রেপ্তার করতে বাধ্য হই । পরবর্তীতে ১৯৭৫ সালের ১৫ ই আগস্ট গভীর রাতে আমি মেজর ডালিম এর নেত্রিত্তে মোট ১২ জন সেনা অফিসারের একটি দল শেখ মুজিবকে নিয়ে তাঁর গোপন আস্তানা ও অস্রের কারখানা ঢাকার ধানমণ্ডির ৩২ নাম্বার বাড়িতে অস্র উদ্ধারের জন্যে তল্লাশি চালাই ।
সেখানে আগে থেকেই অবস্থান নেওয়া মুজিব দলের সেকেন্ড ইন কমান্ড শেখ কামাল সহ তাঁর আরও কয়েকজন সহযোগী আমাদের উপর গুলি ছুড়ে । শেখ মুজিবকে বাঁচাতে গিয়ে ও আমাদের সেনা অফিসারদের জীবন রক্ষার্থে আমি বাধ্য হয়ে ডাকাত ও জঙ্গি দলের উপর গুলি চালাতে নির্দেশ দেই । দীর্ঘ ১৫ মিনিট ডাকাত দলের সাথে আমাদের বন্দুক যুদ্ধ চলে । ঘটনাস্থলেই শেখ মুজিব ও শেখ কামাল সহ ডাকাত ও জঙ্গি দলের সকলেই বন্দুক যুদ্ধে নিহত হয় ।
সেসময়ের বন্দুক যুদ্ধের সফলতা ও দেশ থেকে জঙ্গি ও ডাকাত নিধনের কারনে আমাদের অভিযানের সকল সেনা সদস্যকে দেশবাসী আনন্দে আবেগাপ্লুত হয়ে সন্মান ও ভালোবাসায় সিক্ত করেছিলো ।
কিন্তু ******* দলের দুই মহিলা ***** সদস্য বিদেশে অবস্থান নেওয়ার কারনে তারা প্রানে বেঁচে যায় ।
এই হল ১৯৭৫ সালের ১৫ ই আগস্টের গোপন সংবাদ ।।

Mr. NBI Munshi can you answer why the wives of Sk. Mujib, Kamal and Jamak were killed? Why also the 12 year child of Mujib also killed? Can you give us rational answer?
