Underground wastewater treatment plants help make Chinese city's water clearer

It's great, but why do you have to keep putting down other countries as comparison to emphasize your country's superiority? You really believe only China can plan for the long term and other countries are so incompetent that they can't plan beyond an electoral term?

Indeed, only China Chinese is capable for planning for long term.

A lot of countries are even planning to harakiri themselves on short and long term basis. Singapore is planning a LGBT paradise. Singapore is also planning to destroy her own basic education.

And coming next are planning for feminazi and radical environmentalism.

I am very worry about Singapore future,

You dont get to see these in China,

It's alot easier to clean up your water when there are countries with complex systems already in place that you can refer to for guidance on what works and what doesn't work. It's not like these systems were designed overnight decades ago with the help of Martians or prayers. It was all trial & error until something was perfected.

Singapore certainly leading the way

It's nice to be around in a time where you can just pick up a phone and ask somebody the pros and cons of their waste treatment strategy. Then get it up and running and claiming a much quicker success than other countries in the past.

Then why you didn't make a call to clean up your cities?

LOL! Why didn't anybody call to clean up your tap water since your water is so filthy even your water treatment plants can't clean it.

Just because people are not used to drinking tap water directly in China doesn't mean the water is not good, Chinese like to boil tapwater first before drinking, it's a habit, like Chinese people like to drink hot water while in the west people don't.

Odd...only two places I listed above are in the west and many are in Africa..and while they are poor they don't seem to think they should have to boil their water before drinking...which is an excuse the Chinese use for their incompetence in keeping their water supplies clean.

Tapwater has been directly safely dirnkable since 2007, that was 15 years ago, you guys really should update your info about China more often, and maybe that's why I m very helpful for you guys to know today's China in PDF

Well for one the title only mentions Beijing being safe...what is your excuse for all your other major cities?

China's standard is pretty universal, it's unimaginable other cities can't match Beijing's standard 15 years ago. and I lived in US, many states in US water is not safe for directly drinking.

The water is safe for drinking across the entire country with pockets here and there of places that fail..like Flint or some no place town with only 30,000 people near an old mine.

Forever chemicals in China too

I have no doubt, my OP post only shows how big a progress China has made in the past 10 years when it comes to easing pollution, it's far from prefect, lots of efforts and work need to be dones in the coming decaede.

arguing with these types is a total waste of time. just inform them of the facts and move on, if they choose to not understand that's their problem, not yours.
