It's a regional thing too...
The Christians here don't want to eat pork or are not dying to eat Pork. They too find it werid as they have the same preference in food as we have because irrespective of religion we are South Asians.

I agree that there should be a BAN on all Muslims selling and buying pork.

Non-Muslims should be allowed to have pig and do whatever they want. But pork meat SHOULD STRICTLY NOT be sold or prepared near where the Zabihah halal meats is sold or prepared.

Islam only ask you not to eat pork and that is all, why do we get carried away and stone a pig to death?
Pig is a creature of God it just did not come into being without any reason, why do we get so carried away in everything religious...specially the easy things

some hindus do eat beef... to me, what you want to eat should be your personal choice...My bother is a Chef in the US, he says they have Muslim cooks, chefs who do cut and cook pork, when they come to work place they leave their religious restriction outside the kitchen
