UN Security Council to meet after Turkey strikes against Kurds in Syria

They'll say nothing as usual.

Fair call.. Cos Chinese usually don't interfere in places that doesn't matter to them unlike the muricans that creates groups to slaughter other groups around the world and then leaves behind a cluster **** of mass slaughter

Turkey has every right to protect its people and destroy a designated terrorist organization .. How would EU react if ISIS take hold a huge territory right outside their borders ?

Mmmm there's this thing called sovereignty and territorial integrity.. Hope we will not see you whinging here if and when Indians or Iranians under the pretext of hunting down terrorists unilaterally cross over in to Pakistan

Talk when Pakistan, Iran or India is ruled by different malitia's like Syria. If India go into civil war and several.militia control it, do you think Sri Lanka will not interfere to secure it's interests? Pakistan would surely do.

.
Here comes an Indian as usual obsessed with Pakistan. Dont you have some pooja pat to do for Rafales or some coconuts to break?

Lets pray , he breaks some coconuts on his head too. To put some sense in his brain. Otherwise, to kill the few brain cells working. At least he can then claim "insanity".

There are universal rules, You can'nt make exceptions when it suits you.. Whether we like it or not despite Arab and Western narrative of who rules Syria, To date it has a elected govt, Despite internal conflict it's still a sovereign nation.. If anyone unilaterally violates it's territorial integrity they need to face the consequences

Like i mentioned if you agree with turkey's action then i hope you wont have any qualms about either of your neighbors invade any of your territory in pretext of hunting down terrorists.. Whats good for the goose have to be good for the gander

Too good to be true. We all know how much powerful respect international laws. Even the third world shithole like India don't abide by UNSC resolutions on Kashmir and get away with it easily.

Like I said before if you have different malitia's ruling your country, expect foreign interference. If you have 4 million of your citizen refugees in neighbouring country then expect a say from that country whether it's Pakistan, Australia, Sri Lanka..

As for Iran or India invading Pakistan, they will surely when they find there is no govt and different militia's are ruling Pakistan. Iran is already world renowned for it's interferences in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen, Bahrain, Pakistan etc. You better chose example of countries who really give a toss about international laws.

The Kurdish PTM. Couldn't they find a bigger placard?

LOL look at them hold their broad daylight emergency therapy session at the UN.

A waste of time. Turkey will do the necessary regardless of UN sessions.

This is "Pakistani" Defence forum and I am Indian. What should I discuss...?
(BTW we see more threads on Indian affairs on this forum than anything else.)

Coming back to my post, it is complex situation for Pakistan. Pakistan has good relationship with both China and Turkey. It will require efforts for balanced approach.

We don't have to do shit mate. Kurds are not our responsibility.

The Turks are free ro
They'll say nothing as usual.

They shouldn't. You promised the Kurds Kurdistan. Now deliver.

France, Britain, Germany to condemn Turkish offensive in Syria
OCTOBER 9, 2019 / 11:26 PM /

PARIS (Reuters) - France, Britain and Germany are set to issue a statement strongly condemning Turkey’s offensive in northeastern Syria, France’s European affairs minister said on Wednesday.

Turkey launched a military operation against Kurdish fighters in northeast Syria on Wednesday just days after U.S. troops pulled back from the area, with air strikes and artillery hitting YPG militia positions around the border town of Ras al Ain.

The move comes after a U.S. decision to withdraw from the region leaving Turkey to launch an offensive against Kurdish militants and rattling allies, including France, one of Washington’s main partners in the U.S.-led coalition fighting Islamic State.

“France, Germany and Britain are finalizing a joint statement that will be extremely clear on the fact that we condemn very strongly and firmly what has been reported,” Amelie de Montchalin told parliament’s foreign affairs committee answering a question on the Turkish offensive.

Capitals were still deciding at what level the statement would be issued, a diplomatic source said.

Putin Cautions Erdogan on Syria Incursion as Turkey Sends Troops

Russian President Vladimir Putin cautioned Recep Tayyip Erdogan against undermining peace efforts as the Turkish military began an incursion across the border into Syria against Kurdish forces.

“In the light of Turkey’s announced plans to carry out a military operation in the northeast of Syria, Vladimir Putin urged our Turkish partners to carefully weigh the situation so as not to damage our joint efforts to resolve the Syrian crisis,” the Kremlin said in an emailed statement on a call between the two leaders Wednesday.

The presidents stressed “the importance of guaranteeing the unity and territorial integrity of Syria and respect for its sovereignty,” the Kremlin statement said.

The first Turkish troops crossed Wednesday into northeast Syria in preparation for a full-scale offensive to force back Kurdish militias controlling the border area, a Turkish official said, days after President Donald Trump said the U.S. wouldn’t stand in the way.

When are France, Germany and Britain going to fulfil their promise of delivering the Kurds their land? Empty promises don't mean anything.

Well done Turkey. Get in there and smoke these fvckers. These Kurdish poodles are nothing, but a terrorist proxy force.

. . . .
There is no harm in following procedures, even though we know it's waste of time.
You did it because you still need some kind of international support or attention, actually that's UN is all about. Every country needs it, even big powers.

.
I'm wondering if Pakistan government will support Turkey openly.

Did we get any support despite UNSC resolutions on Kashmir, we knew this will happen yet we went there, bcoz we want to warn, you can call it attention. I don't mind.

Then don't go next time, do whatever you want and see how the internaitonal community treats you.

That's not how diplomacy work, you have to shove their (UN) failure every now and then up their arse. We will keep doing this with regards to Kashmir although we don't expect any resolution of Kashmir from UN on their own until we show intent and force world to stop nuclear war in subcontinent.

Look at French whores, they were completely silent on Kashmir, but now they are leading the peck against Turkey for their terrorist group.
